Over the bar releases are the worst. A truly major first world problem.

 

I take it as an indication that they don't plan on selling it all in the first hour, especially since the Cellar opens an hour later than the Brewery. So there's no need to line up hours in advance, waste hours of my day, and be part of a massive bottleneck.

I was able to get in and out with my AdF in like 3 minutes on Saturday mid-afternoon.

 

This time it's due to a bunch of the staff will be at MWBBF and not available to sell out the back. But I'm sure there will be a line. Beautiful weekend weather though

agree. i’ve thought BA Vibes would be a great beer to bottle for a while now. or at least have on draft.

Two questions:

1. Anyone want to split a D10 tomorrow around open? I am working in the area, and have to go to work just a few hours later. I only really want a single pour (5oz?), and realistically that is all I should with work in tow. This is the first (and probably only opportunity) to try a SP stout at SP (and for possibly years to come), so I definitely want to, but I don’t think I can justify buying a bottle for a single pour.

2. I want to try to get a bottle of casis on Sat for a friend. The twitter post says that allocations will be determined based on turnout. I know that is technically always the case, but I was wondering if they always say this. Trying to determine whether I need to line up in advance, or whether I could just show up around open. Really just hoping for a bottle, not interested in looping and getting multiple allocations.

Darwin more than likely Casis will be easy to grab around open and may be easier an hour or two after. If AdF lasted as long as it did, surly it will be the same for casis. Also I'd share a D10 with you on Sat, but tomorrow will not work.
