So as I said in yesterday’s thread I’m back here in what I can call home and it’s raining and cooling a bit for the better (hasn’t been raining much in over a month).

I’m listening to Rammstein on tv with YouTube and now as I’m writing this YT is suggesting System of a Down. Why not. Not crazy about them but I’m too lazy to skip...

Have a nice Saturday BA. Going to be a busy day, 300+ site edit requests in queue! :astonished:

This is amazing as expected. Dense pour, awesome head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, chile pepper, molasses, roasted nuts, and toasted dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, raisin, cherry, licorice, anise, tobacco, and herbal spice earthiness. Mild roast/char bitterness and pepper spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready malts; light slickness, sticky hops/spice, and chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing roast/char and spicy pepper dryness; no acrid/astringent flavors. Minimal pepper heat builds through the glass. Dangerously smooth sipper, minimal warming 13%. Rich and well rounded imperial stout complexity, with perfect spice, and fruity/nutty coffee balance. This feels a bit thicker and less bitter/drying than the Evil Twin brewed version in the can, but otherwise was just as impressive.

Excellent IPA as usual. Glad they went to cans(year round). Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Pretty refreshing for an IPA. Really great balanced dank/earthy/piney and citrus/tropical hop vibrancy; with a nice malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from lingering crisp drying. Feels a bit more dank and resinous than I remember in bottles, but it's fine by me. Azacca, Mosaic, Citra, Warrior, Simcoe, & Calypso hops. Will definitely keep buying it.

[IMG] Sometimes beer 2 chooses you. You rip it off the rack and it cracks, not pouring it down the drain.

It has been a long time since I have been able to get the Citra DMT. This is my favorite beer from The Brewing Projekt.

New Stillwater NEAPA. This was awesome. Great rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; very creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Super smooth/soft, no warmth of 5.8%. Awesome Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin profile as expected. Very juicy, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin drying. Spot on stuff.

Can’t remember the last time I was the first one awake around here. Going to start cleaning up for Jr’s birthday party. Glad we are having it today instead of last Saturday. People will be able to go outside without melting.

Incredible NEIPA. Fresh batch from this month. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malts; light sticky hops and slight resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Super smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 6.75%. Amazing Mosaic showcase as expected. Love it even more than the Citra version. Feels softer overall. Extremely juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hops; great wheat/oat/malt balance, light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on stuff, glad it's in distro now rotation-ally. Hope to see more single hop varieties soon.

Incredible stuff. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy limes, citrus peel/zest, lemon, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, vanilla, tequila, toasted oak, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate honey, agave, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malt sweetness; light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light zesty bitterness, and tequila/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready wheat; some lactic acid/fruit tang; light oak tannins, and salinity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing acidic/tangy/tannin dryness; zero cloying/pucker. Insanely smooth/soft, not overly lactic/salty. Minimal warming 10%, zero barrel booze. Perfectly balanced between juicy/vibrant limes, Lacto complexity, agave, and tequila barrel presence/integration; with a nice sized rich pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Just as impressive as the Sierra Nevada one, but richer from the high ABV. Will buy more while I can. This was everything I hoped it would be.

I told my wife she would be safe to buy any Fatheads or Brew Kettle beer packaged in June or July last week when she called from Strongsville. I didn't anticipate the Shandy factor, but it was canned 6/4/19, so it is fresh. Pretty good as these things go. Cheers all and enjoy your Saturday!
