Looks like Barrel Aged The Last Kiss is out in the wild (I saw posts from Bottles and Cans, Capones...maybe one other?).

I think this is one of the more under-the-radar BA beers Pipeworks makes...I guess I like Fennugreek, although I have no idea what that is.

I can also report that I've had one in the last month and it most certainly had NOT turned sour.

    sorry I'm still slacking here...

brewpub is still in the works, we have the building, but I only have so much time... gotta finish the production facility expansion (support equipment, not exactly more beer) first (just got our silos, mash mixer and mill online last week - then working on upgrading barrel aging facility including a new larger lab and offices and sensory room (super excited for those)).

I think I speak for every consumer here when I state I have examined your list and reorganized them by our priority:
    1- Brewpub
    2- Brewpub
    3- Everything else
    4- Sensory Room

If 4-packs, which appears to be the case, this is great news.

Picked up a mixed six at TJ's tonight. Spotted Puffer, Velocity of Light, Sea Cucumbo Gose & the last 3 Infinite Galaxy from the singles section. Started with the Infinite Galaxy & it was great as usual. Opened the Spotted Puffer next, boy this is a sweet beer.....

Just got an email from Gerrit for those who have had a Jones Dog issue. I think their response goes beyond what's expected. Nice job @NOTpipeworks!

Taking out his phone number for obvious reasons.

I have to apologize for the delay. I spilled water on my computer around the 4th and it’s taken me some time to get everything back online. In light of this, I just today upgraded our customer service system to something more robust to ensure that all inquiries will be taken care of swiftly going forward.

Regarding the Barrel Aged Jones Dogs you have purchased, we can refund you for any of the potentially affected bottles listed below -

    Possibly Affected Jones Dogs:

Late 2018 The Jones Dog (Bourbon)
    Late 2018 The Hyper Dog
Late 2018 Barrel Aged Jones Dog Sundae
Late 2018 The Coconut Jones Dog

    Not Affected Jones Dogs:
Late 2018 The Jones Dog (Cognac)
Late 2018 The Jones Dog (Apple Brandy)

To initiate a refund please reply back with the following:

    - How many of the affected Barrel Aged Jones Dog bottles you purchased and how many you are requesting a refund for
    - Was this a single transaction (if not please indicate how many transactions)
    - Were you the original purchaser (these bottles were only sold originally from The Dojo, our production facility bottle shop in Chicago)
    - Please provide the last 4-digits of the credit card used to make the purchase(s) (provide multiple ending card numbers if different cards were used)
    - Last name of the purchaser (cardholder)

Once we have this information we will locate your transaction and attempt a refund with our credit card processor. This may take a week or two.

There is no need to return the bottle(s) to us. You are welcome to keep them. From what we’ve gathered not every bottle is affected so it’s worth opening them to find out should you still have some unopened. You will be refunded regardless.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and any dent in the trust you place in our product. Since these barrel aged bottles are all sold out of our own bottle shop I know that everyone who purchased them made a direct effort to travel to our brewery, potentially wait in line, and spend their money and time to get what they expected to be a tasty barrel aged beer. In the past six months, I have taken steps to ensure we don’t experience these issues again including extensive investment in new equipment and our quality assurance lab, completely rewritten all procedures as it relates to cellaring, barrel aging and packaging our products, and included for myself to be the final quality check on every one of our products. If you can make it into our shop again, I’d like to personally make it up to you for your trouble in addition to your refund. Feel free to text me at 847-XXX-XXXX in advance of your next visit (or an email works too) and I’ll make sure you are taken care of.

    humbly,
    -Gerrit

That email is the equivalent of a small child at little league soccer going over to his parents saying "I'm sorry I didn't score a goal today" and his parents going "Aww, buddy, it's okay. We love you no matter what."

Gerrit is just a super nice guy. I talked to him for a while one night during GTMW year's back (when they still had the original Western Ave brewery). They originally had plans to turn that space into a taproom, but it fell through, and they had another location they were going to move to and that had just recently fell through as well. He was visually upset (sad, not mad) and kept saying he felt bad that they were letting their FWB's down. That was the point I realized how much they sincerely cared about their customers. Glad they got over that hump, and yeah, Gerrit is just a swell guy.
