    Guten morgen, err good morning BAs.

    Why starting off the thread writing in German? Because I am drinking a pre-lunch German Lager - namely Paulaner in a 500ml can.

    Getting an early start on the day here. Ithaca Apricot Wheat is on the menu. It's pleasant enough, but heavier on the apricot than on the wheat, though the wheat is noticeable. And the apricot tastes more like flavoring than actual fresh fruit. The head also went dead flat in less than a minute. I won't be looking for this one again. But I still scored it a 3.38, which is a few points over its average of 3.32.

    Remedy Bruce The Truck Amber Ale, 5% ABV. Pours pale hazy red with a half-finger white head. Nose is toasty grain, taste follows with very slight sweetness, and slight bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

    Met up with @dbrauneis and two of his college buddies who are also BA's, as they passed through on their annual beerventure. These three have had a lot of beerventures since the 90's all over the East coast and worldwide, and have quite a collective knowledge of beer. It was great to meet them!

    Woodgrain/Gandy Dancer Brand New Sun Apricot Sour, 4.2% ABV. Pours hazy orange. Nose is apricots and faint funk. Taste is a slight sour, and only detected apricot on the aftertaste. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.
