So it is International Beer day, strange that it piggybacked with National IPA Day yesterday, but heck I am ready to rock. First beers in my new glass and I got a cool little story. The head brewer from Long Trail recently moved to Meredith NH and is now Brewing for a new and very cool brewery called Twin Barns.

I had the pleasure of talking with Sam Clemens the former Long Trail brewer and I asked him what his favorite accomplishment was from his Long Trail days and he mentioned besides some of the beers he brewed for Extreme Beer Fest was this well made and reasonably priced NEIPA. It was a lot of fun chatting with him and could tell he appreciated my love and knowledge of his beer. So when in the Lakes Region in NH in Tilton you have two masterful brewers Sam Morrisette and Nate Wolfended owners of Kettlehead and Twin Barns now in Meredith with a great group of guys between the 2 owners and head chef and Sam Clemens the head brewer. What sets these places apart is, not only quality beer but outstanding food, and vibe also. Cheers all.
