If we do end up doing it 8/16 I wouldn't get there until 730ish, unless I can slide out of work a little early that day

Right now, either way it looks like we'll be missing one or two people who've made the effort to attend the first two. So I extended out the dates to late Sept in the hopes of finding somethinf that works for all. Can people update/add their availability? Please fill out today/tomorrow then we can pick something by Wednesday. Hopefully there's a day after Labor Day that works for everyone. If not then we'll have to make the hard choices.....

Noble and magnanimous effort on your part, going to be very difficult if not impossible to get a date everyone is able to make.

I had some elders this weekend with family who doesn't take beer seriously and had no idea who Russian River was. They don't even like IPAs but the general consensus was this was a tasty easy drinking beer. We had multiple rounds. Congrats on having beer more bold in flavor, I remember when I realized og Dirtwolf smashed elder.

There's thousands of overrated beers. Keep your eyes open and keep us updated.

Don't get me wrong, ACE is a good beer. A very good beer. And taste being nothing if not subjective, I wouldn't quibble with anyone else's characterization of it as a great one.

It's just that I personally have liked several others more. Relative to its popularity on this thread, I was underwhelmed. My expectations certainly worked against it, as did my lukewarm feelings towards Citra hops, which have generally struck me as one-dimensional.

Taking all this into account, I might well be enthralled the next time I try it. On fairer terms, that is.

If I end up going out this weekend, I'm definitely picking up that plus the the West Coast IPA and more Crispy Waves.

I don't really understand what that means. A single friend, multiple friends, an entire family, extended family?

I was fanboying for Other Half in the Other Half thread on a website for people passionate about beer. I am sorry.

On the subject of drinking beer though. I think we might get some double mosaic dream this week. Woo for all these classics in a row!
