    Wow - haven't started this thread since I was living in Germany more than a year ago. I just arrived into Windhoek, Namibia this morning. Will be exploring this great country for the next 3 weeks, with intermittent (depending on signal) posts here. Starting things off with a Windhoek Draught. Great for a hot day. Cheers!

    Good morning BAs! Starting off another hazy, damp day here in NW PA - totally unlike the two beautiful weeks Mrs Lizard and I just spent in the NE. If you didn't have winter in Maine, I'd move there today!

    Found a great bottle shop in Windhoek - first time I have found anything but 5-6 different beers. Actually a great selection of Belgians and some South African craft beers. I haven't seen this one before - but I really like it. Cheers all.

    My 900th beer on BA and a beer & glassware combination that should make @Beer-Panda proud.

    According to my (handwritten) notes, I last drank a Rochefort 8 on 12/18/14. That span was stupid and won't happen again. I've had this bottle for around three years waiting to approach the BB date of 11/19 and hoping to procure the proper drinking vessel. Lovely beer. Cheers all & enjoy your Wednesday!

    Next up is a new one for me. This is a stout from The Franschhoek Beer Company in South Africa. This comes in at 7.3% and it's very tasty. Cheers from Namibia!
