Staying outside was a wise choice. Finishing up some Maine fridge stragglers isn’t a bad one:

 

How are you finding the DFH wild ales? We haven’t had a chance to try any yet.

 

I have to go to a baby “sprinkle” (wtf) this afternoon so two sessions.

Malty & smooth, a little sweet with a very slight hint of butter on the front and very mild hops on the back; a not unpleasant aftertaste that coats the tongue. Copper Legend doesn't do well in that vague “drinkability” category. This isn't a bad beer, but I wouldn't want more than a couple in a row and it's the first Jack's Abbey offering that I can't whole-heartedly recommend.

 

I went to Dogfish Head Brewery back in June on day trip to the beach, they have been sitting in the fridge since.

They probably still have them as nobody was buying them...

ps-I only bought three bottles, so I am done with them until next time.

 

A collaboration between AleBrowar and Mova Brewing Company, Coconut Milk New England DDH IPA at 4.5%. Not as creamy and coconutty as expected. Actually it's not creamy or coconutty at all. It's really carbonated and somewhat sweet. Fairly enjoyable just not what I expected.

Alesatian Hazy Mindset. Solid NEIPA from these guys, if a bit boozy on the finish.





I agree with @cjgiant today is a TVOTR day.

I did! They're Virginia (Sterling.) Little pizza shop that converted their second floor into a brewing space. Their Gen 2 IPA and Das Hefe are top notch. They're only now upping their canning run, I think this is the second beer they've canned.

Dark amber with a thin head. Cleaner and crisper than the Jack's Abbey. Filling, but very drinkable. Not an “all day” beer, but definitely good for a half day.
