So significantly cheaper than SN Octoberfest, and literally a third of what fancy IPA is running these days.

I still haven't seen SN at any of my usual haunts but JA was priced similarly at Rapid. Very good stuff.

Though as someone who's a bit sensitive to that pennies/blood taste in some beers, the name could use some work

Actually just a hair more expensive than SN Oktoberfest. 96 oz for $9.79 vs 144 oz for $13.49.

Fair enough, I was thinking of the 6x12oz SN packs at about $10. Killer value either way.

I dunno, "Amber Legend" is a pretty weak name.

Well for beer anyways. It's a great **** name.

I'd suggest "October Legend", but given that my birthday is in October I'm afraid that's already taken.

Just grabbed this myself this weekend and totally agree with your take (on both the beer and collabs in general). Really enjoyed this one!

Add another person to this list, I've been reading this thread and thinking why haven't I had any Jack's Abby in so long. Was in Wegmans on Saturday and picked up both Oatis and the Octoberfest beer to correct that situation.

The irony of Jack's Abby is that for more than 20 years I was pretty much strictly a lager guy, never liked IPA's. Along came Jack's Abby and Hopponius Union which eased me into IPA's again. That put me on a 5 year IPA kick. I'm coming back full circle now and trying to find some happy medium between beer styles.

Glad that I'm not alone in this opinion. I might have to grab some more before it disappears (presumably) forever

An economic downturn has had me economizing on beer. Congratulations to Jacks Abby for consistently winning large shares of my reduced beer budget.

$8.99 six packs of House Lager tall boys is a fucking beautiful thing.

Honestly my biggest gripe with them is that their beer isn’t expensive enough.

I bought a 4 pack of this last week. Amazing lager. Kind of reminded me of Calyptra, which I haven't seen fresh since 2016. I really wish I had picked up more.

RIP Calyptra, we used to drink gallons of that beer.

Drinking my first copper legend, thanks to Jacks Abby finally being in NJ. What a great Oktoberfest. I got to try the collab marzen they did with KCBC too. I’ll lean toward copper legend for preference though I think.

I don't know if Citra Brau (the new spring seasonal) is a Calyptra reboot but it sure tasted like one to me.

I've got mixed feelings about hoppy lagers, and maybe even mixier feelings about galaxy in a lager, but I will certainly be trying this.
