    Good day BAs! I picked this new to me beer up while driving through Iowa two weeks ago - Tip The Cow, a cocoa espresso milk stout from Singlespeed Brewing, Waterloo, IA:



    Nice. Smells like coffee. Tastes like a chocolate covered coffee bean. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

    Good day BAs! Today's New Breakfast Beer is from one of my favorite breweries:



    I don't think I've ever seen Hoppin' Frog release a 12 oz bottle, but at $ 1.195/oz, a bomber would be 26 bucks - more than I would pay.

    Hoppy Birthday from Alpine Beer Company.

    I always buy this when I see it. But that does not happen very often around here. Can't be too picky about the date on the bottle at this side of the ocean too (could not find the date by the way, but I think I need glasses). At least it was stored cold in the shop in Amsterdam where I found it earlier today.

    Having a Stiegl Radler (Grapefruit) this morning, with a decent pastry and some strong ass coffee while not enjoying this weak-sauce internet connection. So no photos.
    Did have a good first visit to Half Acre last night, just always struggle with imgur app and posting with poor internet connections so you'll just have to use your amazing imaginations. Cheers all... a gorgeous day in Chicago (73?!) right now. Back to work...

    Sour lemons and orange. Clean crisp and quite good!

    Moving right along, into a mini bottle share - “Bright” from Tree House Brewing Co.:



    Juicy lemon, orange, tangerine. No warmth from 7.8%, no hop astringency. Good stuff here...

    Clear red gold color with light color cap.

    Clean aroma that's mostly malty with a hint of something darkish and sweet like cherry cola.

    Nice low key flowing malt rich flavor that offers a hint of roasted malt without any bitterness or roast malt elements like coffee. Just a smooth darkness linked to the malt richness.
