City Built Believe In Dinosaurs NEIPA. This was fantastic. Opaquely hazy green. Lasting rocky head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, honeydew melon, passion fruit, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 7.7%. Fantastic Nelson Sauvin showcase. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on stuff! Will get again. 4.23

Pondering who the Eagles 4th string QB is. Maybe we will put in a RB and just run a Ravens style offense.

Lord Hobo Freebird blonde. This was awesome. Lasting fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, lime, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not overly aggressive, zero warming 5.5%. Great Simcoe, Amarillo, German Noble hop showcase. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, fairly juicy hops; some fruit yeast; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Would buy more for sure! Spot on style. 4.13

[IMG] [IMG] Another cellar pull almost 6 years old and again the nose is stale and not pleasant but the taste is loaded with caramel, toffee, vanilla, and booze. Going to continue to hit the cellar often, see you all tomorrow evening and what will Friday bring????? These days anything is possible.

Just let in the door from work, and it’s not quite dark yet, so I might as well have a beer on the deck!
This New England IPA is hopped with Citra and is a pretty solid representation of the style.
