What beer are you drinking now? #2490

I haven't had a Bitburger in a while but it would be very hard for it to be better then this.

 

It has been 95% here 6 days a week the last 3 years. It is much more the norm then a streak.

 

Hell stranger, poor Max. Just make a lot of noise, the only bear that would worry me is a Mama bear with cubs near by. Yeah, 4+ years in the Springs, pretty much like a blowdryer with those SW winds. My heat solution was always to get up to the high country. Otherwise, a lot of post sundown walks. Then you'll need the bearspray for the people, possibly

Brooks Brewing Peanut Buddy. Excellent PB porter! Aromas and flavors of big peanut butter, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted brown bread; with light notes of coffee, vanilla, and herbal/grassy hops. Mild herbal/grassy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malt; slight sticky hops and chalky roast/PB. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very flavorful and nicely rich for 5.4%. A tad thin, but not watery. Perfectly balanced PB and porter malt complexity; with solid earthy hop balance. Glad to have this as a year round now. Definitely a favorite local PB beer, but the Hoppin Frog one is way more amazing. Will keep buying both.

Having a Stickee Monkee before rest before heading north-ways for some R&R. No pic, trust me or don’t.

(No one bit on answering what was not meant to be a rhetorical post but obviously was... but Burton Baton was the drink from before)

 

Going light tonight (to start).
This one is a lot like Bubbler but drier and more malty.

 

I almost just broke mine snapping a stupid picture. Not beer but time to watch lots and sleep

 

Fantastic sour from Prairie. Glad this came back. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light honeyed malts; light notes of pepper, lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light fruit tang, herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy wheat, some lactic acid, and light fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness. No pucker. Very smooth and pretty refreshing, 6.3%. Not overly lactic. Outstanding balance of pink guava and Brett/Lacto complexity; great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity, mild lingering sweetness. Will get more soon.
