    Okay, so now that I finally own this Guinness pint glass; I feel like my Guinness consumption will dramatically go up.

    Have a « nice » start of the week. A Monday morning is rarely so nice unless you’re currently on a resort somewhere.

    I'm home from work and finally sitting down to review this one...

    Thanks to whomever posted about the tangy/metallic note on the finish of this beer.:wink: I loved the first couple and they haven't been the same since.:grimacing: I need to pick up some Bitburger now and see if there are similarities.

    I'm hoping to score a few new Oktoberfest beers this week as I traverse the state. Lots more available in that MI/OH/IN corner. One more nightshift to go. Cheers all!

    The local brewer’s DIPA, Wonderking after a workout and then some power washing. I think they used Brett-trois yeast. It is tasty.

    At the store this morning came across a stack of 24 packs for $17.59 each . . .

    Clear amber tone with mild/medium malt aroma. Little hop presence (had to search for them) but a malty richness absent from other AAL brands. Oh it's not first list, nor does it pretend to be, but a Mecerdes won't get you to the grocery store any better than a Chevy.

    I had it on tap yesterday. Rather special to find something like this on tap in a hotel in the Netherlands. Hapkin is not widely available in bottles around here.
    Very good indeed. I went for a refill yesterday :slight_smile:
