These posts tend to only get likes and no responses, but I’m here to say, “I care. I really, truly care.”

I really really truly care and can't believe there isn't more chatter about this! Haven't seen any new wilds like this in a while!

I am "local" to this brewery, so follow this to see if they release anything I would drink. Sadly most of what they tend to do lately is not for my palate. Good old White and Black for me...

I say with no exaggeration that Hearthside, the collaboration with DuPont, was perhaps the best saison I’ve had in a really long while.

Swooped in around noon yesterday to pick up bottles. Had to go to a wedding so that is all I could muster. Left with a couple bottles each of Windfall, Pomar, Balaton, and Resurgam. Looking like there were some "good vibes" in the taproom and on the patio and sad I had to shake them.

I saw those clay pots on a tour last year, they only mentioned they were for a new project at the time so its great to see what's come out of them. I generally avoid sours because they have a tendency to upset my stomach. I may have to make an exception here and try this for the sheer curiosity. I also never tried to correlate whether the issue was more related to kettle sours than true sours, my guess is that if I looked back I'd find that nearly all my stomach aches were when I had a kettle sour. I've had a few of Allagash's beers that contain Brett and I don't believe any have given me a stomach ache. I've really wanted to try their coolships but the fear of purchasing a $20 bottle of beer that I won't get past a few sips has prevented that. Time to go experiment!

It's funny you mention that because for the longest time, I was anti-sour. Then I went to Newcastle and discovered Oxbow. I think sour for the sake of sour isn't my bag, but the mixed fermentation stuff, the coolship stuff is less about "sour" than about the characteristics of the yeast.

My grass is long overdue for a mow, so I stopped by the purveyor of alcoholic beverages nearest my house and purchased four cans of Tiny House, with which I will reward my honest landscaping endeavors. If that’s not incentive, I know not what that word means.

I need this in my life. Will seek out. First time I visited the brewery I liked House more than anything. If I can a 3% beer that tastes like that on the reg it's a game changer.

Ahead of the impending cold weather months, I think I’m going to splurge on a mixed case of Tripel and Curieux.

    Ask me anything.

I kind of wish they still dropped Four once a year. That was a solid beer.

Picked up Truepenny Pils at Bacon's in Hudson.

Interesting beer. Pils with a little brett. Went down damn smooth. Tastes great. It's a little lacking in the crispness department, but picked this up warm off a shelf.

I'll try it again, especially if I see it in a cooler somewhere.

Did they stop releasing Interlude? I don't remember seeing a 2018 or 2019 and it's one of my absolute favorite wilds to age.

Edit: Also, If you're seeing this Allagash, I'd love to see a "Single Barrel" Interlude or something aged long term etc. Any and/or all variants would be welcome!

I had an Allagash White for the first time in about 5 years recently. What an excellent beer!

    That is all.
