    Long trail brewing harvest maple.

    Drain pour, I mean nasty buisness. I been buying some of there newish offerings and they , up to now, have been great. This was in a variety pack and all 3 maple brews were bad.

    It's Friday and I'm not working, so . . .

    Serda Brewing Company Jubilator Doppelbock

    Beautiful clear red gold color with eggshell cap and lacing.

    Aroma of very sweet malt, and lots of it, along with caramel, toffee, with a hint of floral hops.

    This thing is as rich as a caramel cake to which it bears more than a passing resemblance. Heavy sweet malt from beginning to end with a touch of floral hops. Fairly simple flavors well combined, the hops are in shadow yet not invisible, but there is a walloping amount of malt and it's tasty.

    Full texture with balancing carbonation.

    Brewer calls this a Helles Doppelbock and it's a double for sure. 8% ABV is not noticeable at all until you get about halfway down the glass. Liquid candy for those who like fuller flavors.

    Made it to Etosha and saw some elephants, rhinos, and giraffes last night. Amazing to see these in nature.

    If you can your hands on some dugges speyside cocoa pull the trigger.. Its a brownie thats been laced in whiskey.. Very smooth and not that sweet at all cheers
