Just rummaging around sorting out old Growlers, and what do I find?

A bottle of The Bruery Melange 3, no idea how old it is maybe 8-9? I’ve had a Melange 2 at a beer tasting so many year ago and was impressed. So I bought one, it got pushed to the back and now it’s found, and I hope it’s not oxidized, but it’s up next week on NBS.

Reminds of the story somebody told me about how they were rummaging through an old attic and found a can of PBR from the 1970s. They gave the can to a friend as a prank and had him drink it - apparently the guy said it still tasted better than the PBR of today!

I also found a bottle of DFH Miles Davis Bitches Brew, it has to be 8-9 years old as well. Never had it, but that’s up for a NBS as well.

I didn’t cellar it or age it , I just fucking found it. Damn. It’s like finding money in your pocket doing the wash , I didn’t save it or bank it, I just happened to find it.

I found a bottle of Grolsch at a garage sale for 50 cents.

I've found out here that the bottle, and beer inside, are from the 70's. I'll be popping it open on the Turkey Beer Day here in a few months, and see what I've got.
