    This is how I'm starting my day . . .

    Clear amber gold color with good white cap and lacing.

    Aroma of sweet malt and citrus, like grapefruit. Something strongly herbal like edgy dry Lavender.

    Taste at first is sharply hoppy with some piney notes this time. There's that herbal thing as well but sweet malt keeps peaking out like little bursts of sun rays on an overcast day. I can't really decide to call the hops piney or herbal but they have a restrained dryness and are certainly not juicy. Short finish with a lingering hop firmness in the aftertaste.
