The Greensboro Grasshoppers have a long standing relationship with Natty Greene Brewing Company going back to the early 00s. Nathanael Greene was a famous Quaker general (that;s right) that turned The Revolution around for General Washington across the south. A major battle was fought here, the last conflict before the British surrender at Yorktown. Their beers are served on tap and the area just at the ballpark has exploded with really good development Come visit when The North Carolina Folk Festival is here early next month. It is an amazing array of music and fun......Cheers everyone.

The AAA Louisville (KY) Bats have the main taproom for Against the Grain, one of the largest local breweries, right there on site.

Iowa Cubs have the Iowa craft beer tent. Lots of local options, most are just ok, but not bad for a AAA game.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (AA Mets) have their own house beer - "Beer for my Ponies," a really good NEPA brewed locally by Beer Tree.

The Rochester Red Wings (AAA Twins) have a locally made Amber Ale from Rohrbach Brewing Company.

Consumer's Beverage Inc, one of the largest beer stores in NY, has a Buffalo-centric pub at Sahlen's Field in for the Buffalo Bisons (AAA Blue Jays)

I am familiar with Boundary Bay .....

Just happened to be my glass this evening.

That's about a 1-in-10 chance given my appreciation for the glass, and more impressive given the fact that I probably have somewhere around 60 or so beer glasses of varying styles.

PS: beer and baseball fit together like ..... beer and baseball.

Preyer and Joymongers are both good, close by and very different, which is good.....The north end of downtown is really booming. Those catfish head sized biscuits at Smith Street Diner are singular and fulfilling...

Oh yes--and after (or before the game) a bushel steamed at the Boiler Room with their Kolsch and some pimento and homemade crackers. The bomb.

Knights stadium in Charlotte has a great view of the uptown and nice selection of mainly local brews--they represent a good number of the breweries in town.

It’s a shame Pawtucket and Lucchino couldn’t work a deal out to keep the Paws in town. McCoy stadium is a gem of a time capsule.

The Brazos Valley Bombers and New Republic Brewing had a similar relationship, though I don't think NRB has brewed a beer specifically for the Bombers, who play in the Texas Collegiate League (wood-bat college summer ball).

Thanks for posting, @beertunes! It's a good article. Good to see baseball and beer finding each other in a relationship that makes perfect sense.

A local brewery here (Beaver Island) collaborated with our minor league team the Saint Cloud Rox. They created Rox lager, essentially a glorified AAL, but it sold well at the store and apparently was a big hit at the ball park.

The Hillsboro Hops (not sure which league they are in) outside of Portland has a mascot all BAs into baseball should be able to get behind. Bridgeport Brewing (RIP) used to brew Longball Golden Ale as the Hops’ official beer, probably my favorite Golden Ale.
