A cider bar recently opened here, with 20-ish cider taps, and 6 taps of local/regional craft brews. Add it or not?

I'd say no. Six taps doesn't make the place a 'good' beer bar which is what most BA members would prefer to search out, and probably most people will go there for the cider anyway.

If they do serve beer, it would probably qualify. I mean, we have people adding their local Buffalo Wild Wings on here lol.

Add it. Then I'll know if I want to go when I'm there. Tons of places on here that simply have a few taps at a restaurant.

Why not add BWW? 30 taps at the local one. Shrugs.

Add it. The ratings/reviews will guide people towards frequenting it or not.

That's why I said he could add the cider house. Apparently any venue that serves beer qualifies.

Definitely add it, you guys grow the second best apples in the country, probably have second best cider too! Beer and cider made well and enjoyed in a nice place is worth mentioning.

As a native of Apple Country NY, I agree on the apples. Washington apples just lack the flavor and texture of those grown within 30 miles of the shore of Lake Ontario.

In some areas of the country, a BWW might be your best option by far... in other areas, one of the worst options.

And I am a big fan of apples from New Zealand.

Lol. Have you ever tried them.

As a side note, when I lived in Connecticut, my folks often went to apple orchards and man, they were some good eating. No need to have them waxed up just to make them look shiny.

No need. Plenty of apples from both of my home states.

Well, quite a few of my favourites originated in New Zealand. Maybe some of yours.

Still, I am not a big fan of ciders. At least, not the ones that I have access to.

I'm not huge on ciders, but I'll have one as a change of pace. We've got about 5 cideries here now, and things vary.
