Online order store Tampa

Total Wine is essentially your only choice in the game ... unless your friend is willing to go to Luekens in Dunedin, which would be my preferred option.

 

If I may, I order frequently online from both Brandon and Tampa Total Wine stores. It's really quick and smooth, except the stores have a lot of beer which may be older than would be acceptable by some customers. I would suggest after ordering and being notified of the order being ready, which usually happens within an hour, making a phone call to ask if the dates could be checked. I check the dates at the time of pickup, but that might not be best if a friend is doing the pickup. Asking for credit or swapping for better dates by a third party might be a problem. All in all, I give Total Wine a thumbs up.

 

They're both big stock stores so there's issues with freshness, I've just had less issues with freshness at Leuken's in the past.

 

They have good reputation, and I need to check them out. When I make the horrible drive through Tampa for my bottles at CCB, TW is right there. By then, I have had all I can stand of traffic, and just want to get home. I have lived around here for 47 years now, and Malfunction Junction has been a stinkin' bottleneck all this time. Rant over.

 

It’s a little more difficult but you’d probably get better beer by just paypal-ing your friend money to pick you up beer from Cigar City/Cycle/Angry Chair/Hidden Springs etc. Distribution overall in Florida is pretty weak, especially compared to brewery only options.
