My son and his friends would label you as a “try hard”. He’s 10. Please stop posting in this thread.

It’s simple. He’s saying it’s ok to mock people that don’t like double citra. But I’m sure nobody would be so stupid as to post something like that in this thread. So more of a hypothetical.

"My" son and his "friends" would label you as "Perfect Beer Forum Commentor." He's 11. Please continue to post in this thread.

Oh man get off your fucking high horse. I am well educated and I especially don’t frequent a beer forum for a fucking lesson in humility. It was a god damn joke and apparently you are too wise to understand that. Go away.

All of this because some people decided to get on a line and other people decided to go do other shit. The obvious takeaway is beer lines are the worst.

QED since we're apparently intro to philosophy.

Does this person even exist? Citra is like the white claw of hops.

Anyone try Gravity Gumbo or Coco Crazee? Do they differentiate themselves (for better or for worse) from the standard OH big stout?

I apologize for my previous comment. I was still drunk from the night before and may have misrepresented myself as an intellectual. Let me assure you that whatever picture you may have drummed up is most likely accurate.

Maybe I do need some unsolicited advice on how to be a better person?

I'm sure you're a fine person, and probably even better than me. The point of my post wasn't to imply that you weren't, but to use your facetious comment as a springboard to say something larger about the importance of sensitivity and respect towards others. I may be alone, but I find no venue unsuitable for such a message. Not even this one.

Living here in New York, I've already discovered, means you're practically bound to witness something heartbreaking each and every day. One way I choose to deal with that sadness is by occasionally preaching from a gospel of kindness. It's not sanctimony, even if it may sound that way to some when they only see it as disembodied pixels on a screen. It's just a way of coping and trying to move the needle in a slightly better direction.

But I'm not here to step on any toes or interfere with their pleasant and carefee diversion. As suddenly as I walked in, I'm happy to walk right back out. And so I shall.

Zero facetiousness with this question - how long have you lived in NYC? I’ve been here almost exactly 11 years. By year four my heart was - using proper medical parlance - critically shriveled. By year eight it was a black stone shell.

My man, we're all here because we convinced ourselves that spending obscene amounts of money on alcohol is somehow a "hobby". That wasn't enough, so we all took that extra step to go out onto the internet to find other people to discuss "drinking beer" with.

This thread is one of the most popular in the regional BA forums because we're all just having fun here. I get where you're coming from and admire your conviction, but we're all thick skinned enough to realize it's all in good fun. "It's just beer" as the love to say on facebook groups.

That’s cool and all, but like half the people here choose to deal with that sadness is by occasionally preaching from a gospel of ball-breaking and shitposting. If you came looking for intelligent, though provoking discourse you have definitely found the wrong thread.

Also, the English-major level vocabulary you seem to enjoy using is a major buzzkill. English fuckin’ stinks.

On a mundane note, the menus online say that the cans to go are DDH Double Simcoe Daydream, but it’s actually DDH Simcoe Daydream at 6.0%. Probably tasty but had me confused for a second.

It's 2019, intellectual forums have been dead since like 2013.
