My friend told me he could really taste the new canning line from the draft he had at LZB...

This is the most laser accurate burn BeerAdvocate has ever seen.

Had one last night and it was pretty good. Not saying it would taste the same side by side, but it definitely evoked Treehouse Hurricane which uses the same hop combo.

Also tried it last night - quite good and a big step up from some of their earlier hazies. This one was really soft, solid flavor. Had it after a Double Grid and the drop off in quality wasn't too bad at all.

FFTT was the best P3 I've tried so far other than maybe Tropical District. The hops aren't as muted in this one as they have been in the others. It's definitely "Simcoe heavy" though.

Thought FFTT was excellent, best P3 beer I've had

This was the first P3 beer I had where I think it reflects the great IPA batches Shaun was producing at More. Noticeable difference even from opening the can and smelling the beer.

Between this and the success of Strawberry Marbles, it’s easy to get hyped for Strawberry Chantilly coming up

I passed on the last 3-4 releases but it sounds like the hype train is firmly back on track. Not that I was starting to get worried.

    All aboard!

I don't even know if they dialed anything in or if he was trying to do "the next big style" of IPA's and kind of make his own flavor/style of hazy IPA and it failed so he went back to what he was doing before.

Obviously I'm just talking out of my ass probably, but I find it hard to believe that it took him like 8 IPAs to say "huh, this shit just hasn't tasted like it used to for a long time"

I did the exact same thing. Finally made the effort to hunt this batch down and was disappointed again. Overly sweet and the hops don’t shine through. Also feel it lacked carbonation a bit

I thought Far From The Tree was solid, but definitely not spectacular. It drank well, but the body was a bit thin and there was somewhat of a harsh finish. Good beer for sure, but nothing that stands out or warrants chasing (although I'm coming along more and more to think that there really aren't many, or any, beers worth chasing).

Anyone know if this is happening this week?

We'll know on IG tomorrow morning. It's been brought up because of Untappd (they enter upcoming beers in advance). It could just as easily be a different IPA tomorrow as they have an entry for one too
