    I'm not going to dignify the noodles question with a response. FFS.

    It should be thick, spicy, and heavy on the beans. I don't mind meat. Can wash it down with a beer or a coke (not a Coke).

    He would be correct.

    Also, chili with beans gives me flashbacks to a crazy customer I had to ban who was obsessed with beans in chili. She was totally insane.

    And no, it wasn't because she wanted tons of beans in her chili. It was due to her thinking she had an affair with Elvis's dad back in the 50's, she was best friends with Johnny cash, she was best friends with Dick Clark's wife, she was best friends with Charley Danniels, and many other people.

    I agree that noodles in the chili is no longer chili. Gotta be thick or it’s just soup. Wait is chili soup?

    Which means I’m set for today, as chili is always better the day after.

    Now it is and it is also Beer O'Clock.

    I just got back from the supermarket, bought all the necessary ingredients, picked some hot peppers from the yard and will start cooking shortly.
