I know American football has its roots in “soccer” and rugby, but really I see rugby as more applicable. Football vs soccer is just too apples v oranges. As far as rugby goes - I dunno - I can see the merits of both games. But I’m always going to pick rugby - pretty obvious since I grew up with it. Football (soccer) doesn’t do it for me at all.

And yeah baseball definitely pips cricket. Both boring as fuck, but baseball has the clear edge when it comes to making me fall asleep.

 

I have to do laundry today but i will likely be there wednesday for the burley oak thing and saturday morning for the usual shenenigans...

Sorry for the late reply to the invitation @rozzom. Very unexpected but much appreciated (you even tagged me twice ). I mean, I'm just a weekday lurker who follows the thread mostly for the entertainment factor, making a rare post and offering a like here and there. I've had a grand total of only 4 OH beers—just single cans of each (2 of them one-offs I believe), bought from a friend. But based on just that small sample size, I seriously envy you guys who have 'easy' access. I'm out on Long Island, and schlepping into OH on a weekend or on the way home from work in midtown has no appeal. I don't trade and rarely go to bars, so I'll just continue to wistfully follow along with this awesome thread. Again, thanks for the meetup invite...I'll be there in spirit. Cheers!

 

I live in Poughkeepsie. Not gonna lie, I'm having second thoughts about staying late tonight considering my commute back home haha.

 

I know @NewmansOwn will swing in with the Insta post, but god I was hopping for releases I had 0 interest in in the weekends before I leave the country for a few weeks and instead we got Mylar, ACE, Citra/Galaxy, A HV collab (which I missed out on) and now Space Diamonds & Broccoli UGH

man that is horrible to hear, I love mango. Of all the shit I am allergic too, thankfully there aren't any fruits. This Mmm Fruit sounds pretty good as well.

 

To be able to have DDH ACE, DDH Mylar and DDH Space Diamonds in the fridge at same time is incredible, 3 awesome beers!

 

Under the glaring harsh strip light of a Monday, it seems I’m not the only one afflicted this way.

I’m still down though if there’s anyone left who’s not dealing with an emergency hair washing etc.

Space D is problematic. Got a massive bollocking after telling my wife that we need to cut back on spending last week, then coming home with 2x the usual amount of beer on Saturday. But this will be worth a marital setback. Just hope the following Saturday is all tosed up fruited triples

 

Is it still happening? I was still planning on coming down, but if we're calling it off I'd like to know before I head to Brooklyn.

I brought 2 HVB cans with me since rozzom requested, but I didn't realize that many people were coming. I would have brought more if I knew haha.
