    I struggle with flat rate boxes, i feel like I can never get enough in there and still feel comfortable nothing with bust. I actually was packing boxes last night and left one open cause I knew it was missing something. I will find it tonight.

    I’m about an hour from Canada.....but some of the other participants are farther north

    I’m in the more beer instead of packing material camp.
    I use thinnest barrier as possible between cans and cram everything so tight that the box is solid and heavy as shit.
    I’m 95% only flat rates at this point due to not living anywhere near another option.
    I’m probably jinxing myself, but only sent a couple that have had a leaker out of an ungodly total. One was FedEx in a 12 shipper.

    I should have mentioned when shipping bottles, that is what worries me the most with flat rates.

    I use the same technique with bottles. I have sent some pretty limited HF bottles via flat rates with no issue. Only lost one bottle via USPS and it was to MA, about 2 hour drive from my house.

    I make sure that I am always able to replace if one happens to break. Probably jinxed myself for the foreseeable future....we'll see.

    My main concern is worrying about if what I send is good enough. I don't have any "whales" to send, just local stuff, and stuff I happen to get on my beer trips (which was totally lacking on my Iowa trip).

    I just hope my targets like what I send them. I'll do my best.
