Anyone know if they updated the recipe for the Jones Dog variants the same way they did with S'more Money? Had a S'more last night, and I'm a bit conflicted about it. The natural marshmallow flavor really comes through more than it did previously, which is nice. But the cinnamon is very overpowering now. Actually numbed my mouth a bit by the time I finished the can.

    File under: very different palates.

I tasted almost NO cinnamon in the new version of S'more Money, which is one of the reasons I really liked it this iteration!

There could also be some variation from can to can.

Every single one? Graham crackers are just cinnamon flavored crackers ...

Or if you want to go extra fat like me, I buy the cinnamon sugar dusted graham crackers for when we make s'mores.

It must be can variation. I think someone without taste buds would have picked up the cinnamon in my can. My wife handed the glass back to me and scowled after a sip. It was like a cinnamon challenge. I have one more can, so hoping it will be more toned down, and I’ll have your experience. Because the mallow flavor was way better than the previous recipe.

Had the Imperial Coconut Jones & I thought it was good, seems like a different recipe than what I would typically expect from pw. Seems much more sweet "pastry" style, richer body....and for me that's a win. Could have used more coconut, didn't get as much as I expected. Maybe a bit over carb but I'm splitting hairs. Excited to see what else they have in store for stout season.

Same here, I got absolutely no cinnamon at all. This is also the thickest I've seen S'more Money as well; it might have been the deepest black I've seen in a stout, and it poured like motor oil. I'm a big fan of the new recipe for sure.

Had one last night. Really enjoyed it. I got lots of graham cracker
If they barrel aged this, hoo boy. Could call it S'more Barrel, S'more Problems.

Having my other can now. Cinnamon is way more muted than my last one. It’s still there but evenly balanced with the other adjuncts. Definitely an improved recipe, even though I always enjoyed the previous one. One of the better s’mores stouts I’ve had.

Imperial Hyper Dog is legit! Can't wait to pop the Imperial Coconut Jones Dog.

These recent Pipeworks canned imperial stouts have been a real pleasant surprise...

To all the ppl complaining about Imperial Coconut Dog not having enough coconut I say this... there are bigger than specks but not big enough to be chunks of coconut floating at the top of the glass I just poured.

Taste wise...just enough coconut to not overpower the chocolate and vanilla. Balanced perfectly imo.

You must be the same ppl who are trying to get me to open my last bottles of MO.

Same here. Thought it might be my palette after a couple, but the cinnamon is overpowering. I’m getting the taste and a bit of a throat burn. I’ve got 2 more for science so I’ll hope that there is can variation.

Was surprised when I went to the store yesterday and saw PIpeworks had put out an Oktoberfest since it hadn't been mentioned here at all really. I can see why, I love most of PW lagers but the Oktoberfest was a big miss for me.
