Suggestions for Firestone Walker and Stone beers?

    Hey, I just found a liquor store in my area here in Overland Park, ks that sells FW and Stone brewery beers. I'm excited but I thought I would take suggestions on what to try for both. I'm a big beer enthusiast and like all styles. Thanks!

    If only this website had a section where people could post what they thought of a particular beer so that others could see it.
    I guess we can dream.

    Pick up anything and everything by FW.

    almost like some sort of numerical rating system where people could share their feelings about beer with the world in a quantifiable way

    Well, most of everything from both of them are going to be pretty amazing lol. Just look up some stuff on some you got your eye on and see what appeals to you. Or, just GO FOR IT!

    They both are amazing breweries. Just try stuff and see what you like. You can't go wrong with those two.

    XVI anniversary was recently released. Just had my first one earlier in the day. Warning, combined with Turkey you will have to take a nap. I just woke up and am considering a second one.

    I would go with the 16th anniversary Firestone and Lukcy Bastard and Double Bastard from Stones since they will be gone soon but there all good

    Get Double Bastard while they have it! That beer wrecks my palate in the best way possible

    Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous. My favorite in their repertoire, and I love that brewery.

    Never had Firestone (shame on me, I know), but I'm a big fan of Stone. If you like dark beers their Smoked Porter (~6 bucks for a 22 oz.) is delicious, and their Russian Imperial Stout is incredible (~8 bucks). If you like IPA's their Ruination is really good and also adequately priced.

    Brewery Price is like 23 I think. So a little mark up, but I know other places are selling it for as low as 18.

    If my memory serves me right, I was paying less than $20 for most of their special releases. The $25 price surprised me.
