    While acknowledging that it isn't nearly as demanding to be a dad as a mom early on, and that even as a stay at home dad, it still wouldn't come with some of the burden as being mom, I feel like I'm auditioning for that stay at home dad job each summer.

    "Sure I'll make you breakfast before you go to work and then I'll toss laundry in," or "Oh, what time are you home from work? Of course I'll have dinner ready!" Nevermind that I went to OH between those things to fill my growlers and snag cans!

    I must admit that I had Blueberry Muffin at Green City 2 years ago and it was one of, if not the best beer I had that day. I went back 3 times. It legitimately smells like freshly baked muffins.

    OK, I’ll play:
    Single Hop Citra (single IPA)
    DDH Vapor Ringz (not a ‘tose guy, but I like this a lot)
    DDH Mylar
    City Slickers (the original, and checks the adjunct box)
    In Absentia Lucia (not a pastry stout guy and I remember this as being good. Was it?)

    Hop Showers was not present at the first Green City. If it was, I may have never left the OH station over the 4 hours. Would have sought out a piss jar for a situation like that.

    Why not both?

    But if Other Half sent a similarly small shipment to Portland, the cans would have been gone just as soon and the lesson just the same. The urge to try what's new and fleeting overrides all reason.

    Yes, I'm aware. All of my comments on this forum are rooted in my annoyance that I can't always get what I want from OH. And what I wanted yesterday was the novelty of having a Great Notion can in Brooklyn with minimal effort.

    Great Notion Double Stack is still on at Owl Farm as a consolation. I would bet that tops a lot of the stuff they had at OH, canned or otherwise

    This is a dreaded conundrum. HS is king in this community and we all hate Roc for stealing our precious beer and attention. I feel like my body is being pulled in opposite directions by a vice. My mind, however, is telling me that I must try this beer (but I won’t enjoy it).

    Fuck sake guys. Open your eyes. “Showers” is like “sustainable”. It has noble, worthy origins but you need to look at the wider context. Patagonia is sustainability focused? Cool. Some VC-backed men’s atheleisure start up has the word plastered all over their Instagram? Fuck em.

    Ok seriously the biggest problem for me is that this is god tier hip showers since it’s essentially Galaxy + Citra hop showers. But it’s brewed by the enemy.

    ^^^ This is the reason we need either split 4-packs or singles (preferably in a vending machine). Can we bitch about being forced to buy too much beer!? Ugh, this is so stressing!

    I would like the MA style of can sales where I can get any number of cans up to a specific #. Although they would need to ramp up check outs because it would drastically slow stuff down. That being said I won't be mad to come home to some Space Diamonds, Hop Showers, & Broccoli! Thats if I don't find a way to drink them all b4 I leave Tuesday

    If anyone tries Rock showers please report back. In a moment of pure self loathing I went and bought a banana stout last night and drank the whole thing. Since I’m at rock bottom already, may as well go all in.
