SLOPPY SECONDS: SAVAGES (V2)

So look what happened in my dining room last night. Normally I'm used to porch destruction but if one of you animals somehow snuck boxes into my attic to cause structural failure then we've reached a new level of ninja boxes lol. Thankfully my girlfriend and I were outside when it happened and the cat was left unscathed. I'm SO HAPPY that I rent at this place and don't own it.

There had been a leak from the AC up in the attic (explains all the buckets on the floor) and it was thought to have been fixed on Monday. As you can see, that was not the case. Thought I'd share the damage with a bunch of guys used to seeing other parts of their houses wrecked haha



Anyhooo, before all that craziness I was taste testing a 5 day old batch of one of my favorite localish IPAs and boy is it drinking great. Targets get ready for a can or 2 of some of Shreveport's finest.

That is rough! Similar thing happened at one of our old apartments. Glad everyone is safe and hope it all gets cleaned up quickly.

 

Thankfully with everyone on the hook for two boxes there will always be an even number of boxes to go around. Maybe @FFFjunkie planned it that way?

Kinda like here in Orlando.... Now that UCF has won a few games... Only a few that matter... UCF shit is everywhere. Dont get me wrong I got my MBA from UCF but Im a Gator all day long!!!!!

 

First up, I've been attacked by a ninja from the great state of New Hampshire. I've had packages stolen from my apartment in the past (I really hope the meth heads really liked the package of colon cleanse they last stole, and used the whole bottle at once), so if I'm not home, I have to pick up at the post office. I'll find out tomorrow what @jhavs attacked me with, but I've got a feeling I'm in trouble. I feel for the poor USPS delivery driver.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Everybody is safe and sound, and we do indeed have renter's insurance. Most of the mess has been cleaned up and the sheet rock guy is coming by sometime this afternoon. Hopefully it'll all be good as new in the next couple of days, leasing company is taking care of everything.

Lucky it happened in the dining room and not right over our bed or something.
