Ticket acquired, can't wait!

 

Got my ticket and a sandwich! Not going to lie, pretty stoked for the sandwich even though I could get it anytime

 

In! And looks like I'm getting a free King's Cup upgrade as well...

As a newb, would someone kindly give some suggestions or recommendations for the event? I know the generalities (don't be an ass, share, ask before pouring), but I was wondering if anyone had any more nuanced recs.

In with the better half...finally getting to return to Woodshop. It's been a while, I think the last one I got to attend as a newbie was at Downtown Johnny Browns....when the outside jockey box had some J.Wakefield berliners to pour for yourself.

Ah...memories....

We even lost a friend 1.5hrs in. Went too hard in the paint and his better half found him passed out in the bushes.

 

just be ready for an awesome amazing time. just stay hydrated with water and you won't be able to try everything! there's great beer everywhere. it's a long event, so definitely try to pace yourself.

 

And don't let ppl stop you when you are trying to get to the restroom. Jeebus...

Might be a good choice, since I think there's like 3 single bathrooms at WIld Barrel. Will Porta-potties be available?

I guess being more or less anonymous in the beer community has its (bathroom) privileges.

(maybe I need to make more friends...)

 

I haven't been to a Woodshop on probably 10 years. I went to one at Stuffed Sandwich and one at someones house in ....maybe Alhambra. Now that I'm down here in Oceanside, this seems like a beckoning to me for a return after earlier (fantastic) incarnations of this event!

 

I'm in for my 2nd year! Group dwindled this year to some friends choosing a music festival over Woodshop so i might be solo or with one other, but...hoping I can run into some of you and chat it up!
