It was good but to be honest I prefer the old Two Hearted. I would never turn it down though.

Maybe it is just a mind thing. When I drink an 11% ABV or above beer I expect a lot probably because if I am not enamored with it I rationalize to myself I could have had two lower ABV beers instead of just this one.

 

Quick flight at Fieldwork. The Dopeness DIPA was the winner here. Cheers!

Been on the phone with the insurance company and pharmacy for my wifes scripts for about 2 hrs.
Basically a dead end street.
The health care system sucks.
Believe that!

Anyways, BEER!

A really good Oktoberfest from the old country...



Dirt cheap and great taste. I like it. I like it alot.

But now on to something American and local...



Barrel aged imp stout brewed with vanilla and chocolate.

Yummm

Helps ease my nerves

I am typically ashamed, so I may as well pour the liquid gold over ice, yes. And then share the blasphemy. Cheers ! ! !

 

In Los Angeles for business, red eye flight back home to night, plenty of time for a visit to Three Weavers. This is Knotty, a West Coast style DIPA.



Nice bitterness on the taste that fits well with the pine and citrus flavors, and a dry, biting finish. Really glad I got to try this - a great example of the style, IMHO.

Stout season is upon us. Rhythm Of The Night b4 is a winner.

 

Icarus Scribbling Crayons. Billed as a no boil NEIPA, which apparently means the hops are still cooked, just not as hot. Either way, it’s a tropical juice bomb. Cheers!
