NBS BIF #10: Sigh -up thread

I'm a low probability maybe. I've been drinking a lot less lately and have some travel within the rough time frame we've been discussing.
Terrry, you said cutoff for yes/no is 10th October?

 

Hi All. So, sometimes posting a LIF (with a link) doesn't go quite as planned. So here is what I posted in NBS last week:

For any former NBS BIFer's that join in our 10th, YES I said "10th" NBS BIF, I offer a cool box of hops plus malts...And the first entry is our very own @Lingenbrau . So starting tonight, and anybody who is a former NBS BIF'er in good standing (Yes, and whomever joined before tonight as well), will be entered in my LIF.

Plus...anybody who is a new, yet highly endorsed NOOB to our shenanigans, will be entered in a separate LIF. Sorry if I don't remember correctly. So basically, lingenbrau is entered as either a former BIF'er (Thought you were in one or more before) or a "NOOB.' So Folks, help me here. I wanna send a few boxes of beer...
One way or another 2 boxes (maybe more) will go out after next week. Join by the end of next NBS. Great fun. Great People. Great Chaos. Plus you get to send beer, and you receive beer. What's better than that?

Believe it or not, I have never participated in a BIF, though I've been BIF'ing it on my own for quite some time. I'm happy to finally participate, and am honored to be entered in your LIF generosity!

Whoops! Does that mean that the "lava lamps" (declared value US$100) I've shipped to the Great White North have been economically disrupting my targets?

 

This plan sounds good to me. The more weekends I have to shop with my target in hand, the more interesting stuff I can find them. (Although with this small a crew, maybe everyone should be a target.)

Well I'm adding @beerloserLI to the list of returning NBS BIF'ers.

And @Lingenbrau looks like the only "NOOB" entrant. (So if I am not missing somebody, and please let me know if I did...Linenbrau wins the new entrant LIF)

So if I don't hear that I overlooked anybody, I'll be throwing names in m'hat tomorrow evening and pull out a name.

Well, I have drawn the name from my Boilermaker hat. And the winner is somebody who I have never sent beer to before (which eliminates about 1/2 of y'all)...


And the Purdue hat is a little ironic if I remember this certain BIF'er's loyalties.

I was in The Hall the day the chair flew (my senior year at IUB). That's the closest I've ever been to a riot. When Knight walked off the court, the inmates were running the asylum. Incredible.
