Have a nice Sunday BA, not much going on for me today.

Speciation / City Built – Urbanization. Outstanding wild ale as expected. Lasting fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, peppercorn, herbal, floral, and grassy hops; with some cracker, white bready malts; lighter notes of leathery/musty funk, and white wine vinegar. Light-moderate lactic tartness, peppery yeast spiciness, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts, some lactic acid/sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/bitter/spicy and carbonated dryness; no pucker/astringency. Refreshingly drinkable, 5.2%. Mildly lactic. Fantastic well rounded fruity/funky Brett/Bacteria?saison complexity and balanced earthy hop presence; with a nice solid pils malt/oat backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Great balance of wild ale and Pilsner style notes. Love it. Will get some more cans, they had it in 750 ml last year.

I've got a lot of laundry to do tomorrow so this will probably be the night cap.

Awesome NEDIPA as expected. Haven't had it in a few years. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 9.5%. Awesome Jarrylo, Azacca and Mosaic profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced spelt/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Will get again for sure. Score did not change. 4.1

Lagunitas Hazy Memory. Fantastic Hazy IPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 8%. Fantastic Loral, Hallertau Blanc, Galaxy, and Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Glad I got the pack as usual.

I got up early to watch the Men's World Road cycling race. It's raining so hard in Yorkshire, there is no video coverage at the moment.

Nice shots of people holding umbrellas.

I am enjoying the perfect day drinking beer, Funky Buddha Morning Wood. So sweet, so much maple and coffee. Getting warmed up for resumption of video coverage of the bike race.

Fantastic Gose as always. Flavors of tart/sour cherry, lemon, lime, green apple, wheat, cracker, coriander, sea salt, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness and lightly spicy/tannic fruit finish. Balanced cherry/lacto acidity, salinity, and grainy wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Highly drinkable and refreshing, minimal puckering. One of my all time favorites in the style. Does not feel quite as lactically sour as previous years, but still fantastic and easier drinking. Found some old back stock from 2017. Hope they bring it back, apparently retired now as it's not on their website. They really trimmed down their lineup I guess.

This was mind blowing. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toffee, marshmallow, graham cracker, fudge, brownie/cake batter, biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal, grassy, spicy hops; and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Light carbonation and full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, rich malts/lactose; slight slickness, sticky hops, and chalky roast. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; zero cloying sweetness. Insanely smooth/soft nitro finish; minimal warmth of 10%. Perfectly balanced super rich malts, lactose, and flavorings; with just enough earthy hops to balance sweetness. This is their best dessert stout to date! Tastes exactly like S'mores. Last can unfortunately. Hope they release it again next year.

After the coffee that is FBS, I need some pure juice. If you haven’t had anything from Hop Butcher, you’re missing out.

Not new to me, but certainly a good Sunday starter. Cumbre (collaboration) Woodland Paradise IPA. Solid stuff here. Has a couple of months on it but doesn't bother me at all. Cheers! Lots of work ahead today for me. So going silent for a bit.
