    Happy Sunday BA’s
I’m having an old man’s breakfast as Mrs G put it. A Raisin Bran muffin and breakfast stout.

She was singing this one by her favorite artist while I was in the kitchen

    Some morning coffee.
I'm psyched that I will get to watch the Patriots/Bills game today.

Taste on entry is sweet and fruity like a ripe pear that has been sprinkled with lime juice. Sweetness is a large part of the flavor profile but not overly so, at least in a cloying sense. Not a complex group of flavors but there is a round fullness about it. I do not smell, taste or detect any alcohol which is fairly substantial at 10%. There is something lightly present in the aftertaste which I suspect is the Tequila barrel.

It's the Centennial + Mosaic hops version. Time to do karate in the garage.
    Cheers! :beers:

Good but nothing exceptional, maybe a bit thin. Could well have had some more hops and less sulfate

This may be the best NEIPA that I have ever had. This beer is from Fargo, ND, and it is still difficult to understand how a guy that played football in Fargo, ND, came to Lambeau Field this week, and outplayed A.A. Ron Rodgers at the quarterback position.

Dang, I love their label art. There's quite a few of us here in Lincoln, NE that really wish Drekker beers were available on the shelves, especially after their collaboration with White Elm Brewing. We got the Rattle Can collab, did you get the I Can't Hear You ???

I did not see the I Can't Hear You???, but @The-Adjunct-Hippie sent me some White Elm Brewing beers last year, and I was quite impressed. My brother went to the last Wisconsin Badgers football game at Nebraska, and brought back a bunch of Zipline Brewing beers. Those were also very good!

The Pelican Inn, Muir Beach, is the first stop on Highway 1 north of San Francisco as it winds across the Marin Headlands, past Muir Woods (a must see Redwoods grove), down Green Gulch Valley by the Zen farm, to the sea. HIking trails spider in every direction and 2 pocket beaches nestle beneath the bulbous headlands and the hip community Muir Beach.
    a) Clear brassy golden body, lacy head .
    s) English influenced Pale Ale, hops and bread.
    t) Follows the hops and bread theme, fresh yeast, almost soapy, juicy, crisp extra bitter finish.
    f) Mid, crisp, bitter finish.
    o) A perfect pub food beer .

As always with Shelter Island, in SMASH CTZ there's a bit of funk.
    a) Funk shows in the dark, gray, muddy amber body, like a beach rock with algae dulling. The loose half finger head that rings and scatters sea foam around the glass.
    s) The yeast and funk layer on the myriad hop nose.
    t) Follows aroma, with more bacteria, yeast, live, wild notes layering like a cloud over the green hops.
    f) low carbonation, yet fizzy like a sour, slightly thin, but satisfying enough that we picked it for our growler.

Lovely finding this new brewer at RattleNHum 39th St NYC, at $6 a pour happy hour.
a/ nicely hazed body, one finger head, shards a bit.
s/ berries, citrus, lemony, peppery yeast.
t/ big, clean delightful orchard full of berries and fall fruit tempted by yeast. wild.
f/ crisp, smooth, almost had another but such a large selection. inviting, wine like.
    o/ well done try 24.

picked because of sunshine at my corner bodega in Park Slope.
A - Pours a clear, dark coppery orange body with a one finger creamy, off white head that that laces and lasts.
S - totally balanced, caramel malt backdrop with layered sweet hops on top. Like marmalade on sweet toast.
T - Taste explodes but doe not assault: pineapple, mango, and citrus. The malts balance the hops. ABV is hidden. Realized balance fully.
M - Mouthfeel - medium bodied. Balanced, clean, inviting, hidden ABV.
    O - Rocking great DIPA.
