Passed on F-Stop. Did buy the Oktoberfest though. Enjoyable, but it's nothing I haven't had in a decent marzen before.

Did you expect it to be though? P3 isn’t exactly known for lagers and has only done 1 before on this system.

Not necessarily. I did really like P3 Pils though, and Oktoberfest is one of my more preferred seasonal styles. Paired with the fact I've been underwhelmed by many of their IPAs, and I'm happy with my choices.

It probably isn’t but honestly I’ve literally never seen you say a beer was good. Almost every post you make is either complaining about mikerphone or phase 3

How am I a creep for recognizing your name when you complain about the same two breweries every single day.

I’m rooting for Shaun, but damn. How much longer can poor product be produced before the brand is just completely tarnished. I’ve stopped purchasing cans, though have tried most on draft and continue to be unimpressed.

For what it's worth, the stouts have been excellent so far, in my opinion. I also actually like his release method for them, I know others are not so keen on it.

You forgot the "in my opinion" I don't think the product has been poor at all. The pils was great and every one of the IPA's has been either good or great for me. I lucked into a four-pack of F-Stop at the Schaumburg Binny's, happened to have two friends stopping at my office later that day. We all had a can and all three of us thought it was EXCELLENT.

The reality is that (a) His beers sell out almost immediately (b) He has a track record of making great beers at two different breweries before P3 and (c) He has a reputation for making adjustments for the better when adapting to new brewing equipment. Whether you like More or do not like More, by the time he left, More IPA's and stouts were considered amongst the best the state has to offer.

That being said, I totally understand your decision to stop purchasing if you are not enjoying, there are plenty of options, which is a good thing. For instance, I stay far away from Hop Butcher as the beers are too sweet and do not taste like beer to me, but I know MANY people like that. Different strokes for different folks...

Last few HB hazy releases, and the last couple P3 ones have actually sat on shelves long enough for me to see them, that's all I really care about at this point. Not even drinkin 'em, just glad to see they're there!

He does bash P3 a lot sometimes deserved, sometimes isn’t. But Mikerphone is always deserved.

The last IPA of his I tried was very good. I forget which one it was though. I don't buy every release but the ones I do I generally enjoy. I wouldn't call the prodcut "poor."

Had F-Stop last night with a few friends. Thought it was pretty darned good, and I've definitely disliked some of the early hazies so any talk of fan-boyism will be met with swift retribution. To each their own. They seem like they're doing OK.
