Haha, good point. Thanks for the insight. And welcome to the forum @NativeCObuyer76

Thanks for the suggestion @Dan_K. While we will continue to produce non-adjunct variants of Medianoche (like our upcoming Medianoche Premier) we'll likely never put anything with the Medianoche brand in cans (maybe I should clarify never again, since the initial Medianoche releases were in crowlers way back in 2016). Not because we don't love cans, but because it just doesn't feel like the best packaging format for that specific brand.

But that's not to say we won't find other barrel aged beers that would make sense to package in cans. We're actually releasing Barrel Aged Märzenator this week, which is our take on the Doppelbock style, but combined with the Märzen tradition of brewing in March and lagering until September. Except we lagered for 6 months in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, because, WeldWerks

Just make sure fresh Juicy Bits keeps hitting Denver and you'll keep most of us happy.

Well if you think about it, Colorado Springs needs WW more than Denver does, we are twice as far away. I still managed to visit weldwerks ~20 times last year, ~12 times so far this year.

Our distro is kind of inconsistent (we've gotten 1 drop in the last 3 weeks, of 1 can) so I make sure and check Loveland stores when I make the 110 mile drive up there.

But, that will be solved when WW opens their 2nd location up here.

As far as WW not distributing enough, it's a different business model. They used to hardly distribute at all, and only increased it as production increased. I think they are more focused on freshness and variety.

If you look at someone like Great Divide or Avery, they have a huge footprint but the beer doesn't move fast.

Anyone as intrigued as I am by the BA Marzen they’re releasing today?!

The Michigan beer sounds tasty too

If it's just a marzen, I might check it out. But if it was brewed with Mars bars, I'll pass.

I got a two pack and liked it, but the head retention was disappointing.

Shouts out to @Tarheel4985 and the whole Weldwerks team for bringing the heat yesterday and totally delivering on the promise of "nuff for everyone." We showed up at a leisurely 3pm (drove up from the Springs) to find plenty of open parking, ZERO to-go line, and plenty of open tables inside. If you are really about that line life, I guess do you, but damn, it sure was a beautiful thing to not deal with that crap. Mosaic Extra Extra had sold out and DB PBC Noche had kicked, but everything else was available/pouring. Yesterday was the smoothest, least stressful release I have ever been to at Weldwerks (and I've been to a LOT).

Yeah it was incredibly smooth, and plainless… except for my wallet. I'm not sure how I'm going to explain to my wife why I needed $200 in beer... but... great stuff. Medianoche is my beer spirit animal. Also enjoyed Mosaic Extra Extra, very smooth for such a fresh and hoppy beer. Well done all around.

Also slid over to Wiley Roots and they were low-key killing it with the new cans. Came back south with a truck full of Greeley goodness. Not something I ever thought I'd be saying 5 years ago.

New Englander back in CO for the weekend. Picked up 4 packs of Juicy Bits and DDH Sultana Juicy Bits in Boulder - happy to find these. Really digging the Sultana variant. Good stuff!

Sultana is Denali if you weren’t aware.. love how the marketing at Weldwerks tries to play it off as some new hop. It’s been around for a while now they just had to change the name for one reason or another.

I have a brother in law who lives in Colorado Springs and is coming to visit my wife and I this weekend for FoBAB. He's just getting into beers, and especially sours so I don't think he has too much experience in finding stuff. Is there anywhere where he'd be able to pick up a bottle of Medianoche? Sorry for my ignorance if this is a brewery only release or is straight up impossible to find.

Brewery only, and I imagine there are only on-site bottles remaining....
