We thought, since beers are your thing, you might be interested in our latest beer comparison as we gear up for our Epic European beer comparison. We compared 19 beers! We realise that these are not all of the beers in Spain, but come one! We were lucky to have survived 19. Ultimately, we wanna see which European country produces the best beers in general, so we decided to first compare some of the Spanish beers and then pitch the three of our best Spanish beers against other countries. These are individual results: Nat's top 3 beers: 1st Alhambra Tradicional, 2nd 1906, 3rd Cruzcampo. Ivan's top 3 beers: 1st San Miguel Manila, 2nd Mahou Maestra, 3rd Amstel Oro. Which three beers earned most points and qualified for our Epic European beer comparison is something you will have to wait for until you see the next video. Link for the video: Have you tried any of these? Which one was your best and why? Cheers Ivan and Nat
Uh, sorry? No way I'm watching a 22 minute video, on my fone, at 1:30 AM. That said, if the pic in the OP is accurate, well, yeah, I've had a bunch of those. Shrug.
Damm! That's what my ashtray says. It's been outside, inside, and now is our out the door key repository. It wasn't much different than Bud, which both beers being actually pretty good. In any case, we have many great choices and I will not buy either of these again.
I like the technique! Sharing a few swigs from a bunch of cans on the table. Way better than watching some overweight guy with limited vocabulary sniff and swish.
So which one was your favourite? What we found was that people often rather than focusing of they actually like they go for the brand of their region as kind of regional pride, which just confirms the bias.
Hmm not entirely. Posting here definitely not going to ensure major clicks for us. For that, you have Reddit, FB, Twitter, IG and GoogleAds. Posting here was mostly to see the opinion of others. As mentioned before, Spanish people tend to have a strong regional bias and are not very objective. We know what we liked but wanted to see if some other people (given that this is a beer forum) tried any of these brands. And of course, to know our opinion you would have to watch the video but only if you are interested in its value or the value of our opinion. It's not like we are actually click-baiting you with something that is not really the content of the video.
Haha, this made me giggle and somewhat intrigued but the video you must have watched (fat guy with a limited vocabulary). Post a link . The real reason for this video was a request by our Spanish viewers who lack any kind of impartiality as well as the fact that we have collected a range of beers from across Europe this summer and are planning to pitch the best Spanish beers (ones we liked most) against popular beers from other European countries next week. Hopefully, we will survive that
Man, I’m so glad that you brought this up! Not because the beers are so good but because it reminds me of the great time we had in Barcelona last year. It was an amazing experience despite of the short time we had there (guess it must have been 5 days) but because of that I felt an urge to try as many beers as possible during our stay. There is a multitude and are all quite cheap so I ended up drinking 3-4-5 beers every night to try all that I thought were interesting... Looking at my records from that time, the top three lagers/pilsners I chose were Manila, 1906 and Alhambra Especial - these were surprisingly better than the rest of the crowd.
No particular videos in mind. It just seems to be the common thread with beer tasting videos. A big guy who has trouble pronouncing the beer name or style, taking the whole thing far too seriously. I generally don’t watch tasting videos, but I like your more casual approach. By the way, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the beers you’ve reviewed here before other than Damm.
