Have a nice Sunday BA. Have quite a lot of stuff to do for today.

Omnipollo Hypnopompa. Haven’t had this in 4 years. This was fantastic. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of raisin, fig, licorice, molasses, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready malts; light slickness, sticky hops, and chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char bitter dryness; no cloying, acrid, astringency. Dangerously smooth/soft sipping, mild increasing warmth of 11%. Fantastic balance of super rich malt complexity, marshmallow, and vanilla flavors; with balancing earthy hops and restrained fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering hop/char bitter dryness. Just as impressive as I remember. 4.23

Good morning advocates. Another day another local pastry stout:wink:.. Other halfs/ burial Velvet Magnum II Macadamia Coconut Squares, conditioned on macaroon cut coconut, Tahitian vanilla, macadamia nuts, coffee and cinnamon..Even after a year this is fantastic. Heavy cinammon with a shit ton of coconut and chocolate. This is what you get when Brooklyn's finest collaborates with Asheville's finest. Im going to savor this as I get ready to join the gf and her parents for brunch later on today cheers fam[IMG]

Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Speciation / City Built – Urbanization. Outstanding wild ale as expected. Lasting fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, peppercorn, herbal, floral, and grassy hops; with some cracker, white bready malts; lighter notes of leathery/musty funk, and white wine vinegar. Light-moderate lactic tartness, peppery yeast spiciness, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts, some lactic acid/sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/bitter/spicy and carbonated dryness; no pucker/astringency. Refreshingly drinkable, 5.2%. Mildly lactic. Fantastic well rounded fruity/funky Brett/Bacteria?saison complexity and balanced earthy hop presence; with a nice solid pils malt/oat backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Great balance of wild ale and Pilsner style notes. Love it. Will get some more cans, they had it in 750 ml last year.

Bell's Two Hearted. Fantastic as always. Aromas and flavors of huge ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-plus body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and light resin/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringent. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 7%. Amazing Centennial showcase as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized balancing bready Vienna/pale malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on Midwest style IPA. Prefer the Founders Centennial more, but love both. Just as impressive as the Double as well. Will keep it in the fridge more often!
