Crushin' It needs to be year round and available in Central PA (along with all other Cape May beers).

Draft came back early and was put back on-tap today, FYI.

I'm just happy Follow the Gull is still on tap. I love that beer way more than Crushin It.

I was there today. They had a Kolsch on tap (Rad 17) that was lights out.

My only complaint is each time I have been here, the bartenders have an attitude like I am bothering them by ordering a beer. I'm not saying I won't go back, but I am in no hurry to return.

I have to agree with your assessment. I did notice that the very first time I went and it rubbed me the wrong way. The last time I went, however, the person serving me was very nice.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Kolsch, but bummed to hear you had a less than stellar experience with the service! The tasting room is outside my purview but I'll certainly pass your feedback off to our tasting room manager - hopefully the crew behind the bar were just having an off day and next time your experience is more positive. Hope you enjoyed the liquid though (as that is something that is very much in my control!), and hopefully you stop in again next time you're down this way. We have a ton of fun beers coming out over the next few months so there will be plenty of reasons to make the trek down the parkway throughout the fall.
    Cheers!

I thought the Kolsch was spectacular
It would be a fridge staple if it was available

Oktoberfest should be around this week. Happened to run into the delivery guy at my local store. This was last week he said it was making the rounds. Just passing along if anyone was wondering.

I was there Saturday morning for the strawberry taffy release, the Ofest was available in the cooler and of course on tap. I didn't try it as I was time challenged, but I did see it was now available.

PS. The brewery was out of lager, a total disappointment since I love that beer.

I had the Octoberfest in my hands today at the store and ended up passing (for now) for other options. Someone post and let us know how it is. I DID get a four pack of Captain May.

It was one of my favorites from last year of the locals is what I remember. It was different, in the sense that to me it was almost floral (pils like) but also had enough caramel malt to make it just enough malty sweet like an Oktoberfest. I’m gonna grab some this weekend assuming my store got some in.

I'm going down again this weekend, I think based on your summation I'll grab a sixer of it. Thanks much.

@Kadonny going on a year old memory so let me know I’m off, if I don’t beat you to it that is. Didn’t have time to get any this weekend : (

Will do, I can probably grab some at Greens while on the island and not have to trek to the brewery.

A bronze in the Brown Porter category for their beer Honey Porter.

Lately I’ve found Cape May’s hoppy beer to be as good as any of the usuals in the area.

Very underrated IMO. Kane Head High is a great beer and highly rated and I thought this was much better when I had both this past Summer in Cape May.

I really like Coastal evacuation as well but it is a double IPA. If going to compare to Kane compare to overhead. In that head-to-head I would have to give the nod to overhead but Coastal evacuation is no slouch.

I find most if not all of the Cape May beers to be solid or better.
