Glad you're out, and I'll be donating to Planned Parenthood on your behalf. If I can do it for Mike Pence, I figure I can throw in 20 bucks for an unknown schmuck on BA.

I've never been happier to follow someone else's lead.

For the record, this donation was made in "honor" of @t4h2c0 on the submission form.

It was also inspired by Floodland Brewing, which has effectively elevated a labor of love and pure passion with higher ideals. The exact opposite of a "joke," they've presented the model that any brewery, large or small, should aspire to.

I know what I paid, I know what I got. It averages out to over $30 a bottle for the 5 bottles.

This is beer. Adam has earned the respect and admiration of our craft beer community for his dedication to quality ingredients, a strong and real relationship to the people who grow the grain, fruit and yeast he uses in his beer. If his work starting and writing iconic recipes with Holy Mountain and Floodland teach us anything, it is that Adam cares about beer and the people who grow what we use to make what you enjoy possible. He is also an amazing brewer.

We have had the fortune to get to know and work with Adam over the past few years and Fremont couldn’t be more grateful to work alongside him in these crazy adventures of crafting quality beer that matters, not just for the fans but for the farmers and artists who care about quality.

Whether you agree with Planned Parenthood’s services for women’s healthcare across the board and outside of abortion procedures or not, Adam has earned the right to have an audience and a voice. We, Fremont Brewing, have always stood proudly and loudly at the side of Planned Parenthood and will continue to do so with our voice and our contributions of money we have earned from you, our supporters. I, for one, am inspired by his choice to link an issue that has universal importance to his work as a brewer.

Judge how you will, but I encourage all of us to reach for the common ground before the divisive ground...after all, many of the farmers that Adam and we, Fremont, support and promote are on a very different political scale and, yet, we find the common ground that supports us all. Maybe you could do the same...and the beer from Floodland will reward you.

Tex I might be a little bit in love with you. I don't think you have ever taken a stance here I didn't agree with or deeply appreciate.

I'm reluctant to even answer this question on account of how thoughtlessly you've framed it, but no.

Unless you've failed to check your promotional folders or are the victim of an isolated technical malfunction, you should've received all the emails you signed up for. And it's a shame if you didn't, because Adam really writes the best letters.

It's just as marvelous to read or hear how he talks about his beers and the process behind them than it is to drink them.

Floodland makes the best beers in the state, and is well worth the price tag. I have pretty much stopped drinking all other sours because it's such a step down.

Biere de Mars is probably one of the best beers I've had in a long time. Absolutely fantastic.

This is amazing! Current and proud renewing Oakworks member here. Love what Adam is doing, and happy to pay whatever the hell it costs no questions asked, it's worth it. Great to hear the raffle was so successful and that another 20 people get to enjoy Oakworks. Cheers!
