SAVAGES (v2) Hints/Hauls

Not for this one. Panty chug will be a seperate video. I've got 2 chugs and 2 blind beers I have to get to. I am putting off the panty chug to avoid mocking and ridicule from the wife, but I'll get it done soon.

Target # 2, Haul Hint #who cares-Scored you some sweet SoCal brews & swag. If you don't like the swag, you'll need to forward it on to someone else. It won't fit me, unless I go back to my college weight. The brewery should be new to you, it's almost new to me.

 

Now it's time for a blind beer review on a beer provided by @TheGent .

Upon opening got citrus on the nose which made me assume IPA. First sip was pretty malty and no citrus. As it warmed a little got a hint of sour. Gonna guess IPA, but that really all I got. I suck at reviewing beer.

Its a fruited pale. Got the flavors on the nose as soon as I cracked it, but didn't catch those flavors while drink. Haven't had a Brut to compare, but not sure the style is for me. Thanks Anthony.

 

There is nothing to work out! You're going to get a bunch of beer and a bunch of cookies and you're going to like it.

Blind beer from @r0rschach

I kind of got a little hint from his other targets blind beer, but right off the bat this smells like a pickle jar. I think this may be a different version though, the other pic seemed to have a green tint.

Tart, light sweetness, dill, salinity. Tastes like a pickle, which is odd, but I’m enjoying. Doesn’t seem like straight dill pickle flavor, decent amount of sweetness.
Reveal in a bit after I drink some more.

 

Those cookies are the best!

Welcome. I’ll be honest, Jason. I buy 99% of new beers released by Carton. When I saw this one I said “no thanks.” That’s when it hit me that it would be a perfect blind beer. Sorry!

Now that you and @thatoneguymike have opened it I can do the same.

 

I debated about holding off the review on the chance we got the same mystery beer. But I decided not to. Sorry to spoil the surprise

Yeah I was worried that might happen but it seemed like a fun choice. Very strange beer indeed. Actually they're not the first Texas brewery to make a pickle beer, there's a sour brewery that's been making one for years and I find that one a lot more pleasant actually.

 

Hint #17. Targets, your boxes will be roughly 70% sours, 30% other styles. You both drink sours fairly often.

Hint #18. Target A, you have a sour powerhouse quite close to you. You have tried a lot of their brews, and have rated all of them highly.

Hint #19. Target B, I don’t think you live near a good sour house, since most of your sour ticks are from out of state. This is probably why ipa is far-and-away your most-ticked style.
