No problem, was still a lot of fun! I kind of want to find the other versions now and give them a try. I think it would also be a great liquid to use for a cooking brine.

 

Does Blue Owl make a pickle beer? I know they are all sour beers...I went there a few years back.
Plan Bee (in NY) also makes a farmhouse beer called pickle. I had that a while back, much different than this one, but definitely also gets the pickle flavor characteristics down.

My targets' blind beers are similar in shape but not the same, so no risk of spoiling anything for the other.

Still no call outs but they won't have a choice soon.

Probably not a good idea to mix booze and antibiotics but to be honest I have done so on numerous occasions and it did not impact me. Crap, that is a bad example!

 

I finish meds today and quite frankly I had no drinks for the week. Had no sense of taste or smell so it would have been a waste of fine beer/alcohol.

 

Get used to it. Once they go to preschool and kindergarten, they will come down with all kinds of stuff. You may find that you and your wife get some of it too. My granddaughter has been going to a two hour preschool program twice a week and it seems every time she gets sick, it is soon after one of those sessions.

When my kids were young, they got ear infection after ear infection. I think they lived on antibiotics. The youngest finally had to get tubes inserted in her ears so the excess fluid could drain. It has been too long ago to recall how long they stayed in but it did work.

 

Most of my transgressions were when I had abscess teeth. Antibiotics were prescribed before they could do the root canal. Because of the pain I also took Advil. The beer and Advil were part of my self imposed pain management program.

I will admit when I had sinus infections, the thought of drinking beer mixed with all the coughing and phlegm was not an appetizing thought.

No, I did not send that box. IN FACT, I have not sent most of the boxes attributed to me this round. HOWEVER, that is about to change. Neither of my targets has called me out, and now I'm debating whether to give them advance notice at all...

I will be packing up Target Epsilon's payload tonight, and ejaculate it in his direction tomorrow. Examination of his ticks has given me an opportunity to do some badly needed cellar thinning.

The food item will be arriving separately and prior to a second box (which is pretty stout heavy, hope that's ok). Food should be delivered by the end of the week with the second box going out early next week.

So I recently received a ninja USPS box from Haywood Jablomee, who must be @y2kawakami 's roommate/ live in lover as they share a return address.



Mr. Jablomee sent me a whole lot of island love! Dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts (my wife says thank you, I'm sure they are delicious but they were "not for me"), smoked cuddlefish (ika - iso bushi... I'm intrigued), arare/ kaki mochi (Japanese rice cracker flavored with soy), and some of the orange island crack that's been going around. ALSO, a Deschutes barleywine (Sean must have told Haywood how much I love barleywine) and a tasty looking blueberry vanilla sour. Thank you Haywood!



Unfortunately, there was a devastating loss here. Despite being shipped frozen, in a cooler, with ice packs, four (!) containers of authentic island poke were delayed too long to be edible. It broke my damn heart, such a thoughtful touch Haywood! We'll have to meet up when I finally make it out that way to have a beer with Sean.
