Kane Brewing (2019)

Just killed off my last Omna with ba coffee beans, still fantastic not at the level it was fresh but one of my fave coffee beers of all time.

 

Something non hoppy would be nice. It’s be cool to see core seasonals. Like @tzieser said maybe port omna for winter, cloud cover for summer, drift line for fall, night swimming for summer. Hey, one can dream.

 

Velvet Hand ESB was really tasty too. Like you said, pipe dreams, but it’s still pretty fun to discuss. I’m more than happy with the 10 day old Head High I picked up the other day.

 

wondering if they used that gross gloppy pie filling style blueberry for this collab based on the descriptions... gross if so... but not a style I'd bother chasing outside of a taster..

 

If anyone heads up today, could you see if they happened to release any extra anniversary bottles?

 

And if they do PLEASE kept it to yourself case i'm going tomorrow. TIA

 

What happened to this page? New Sunday Brunch release announced and no interest?

Also any leftover anniversary bottles?

 

There were a few left on Saturday when I was there. Not sure if they made through Sunday.

 

Lower interest in Kane non-BA bottles than there was a few years ago. I'm thinking that that, combined with an even higher price point, Kane's going to find that these won't sell nearly as quickly as past batches. Then again, they might not care as long as they sell.

I know I’m in the minority here but I kinda wish there was an option to purchase just one bottle, which is what I usually do with the ones available at the brewery. Less expensive that way, plus more people could get bottles then.

 

I know @Peterock27 i still check the IG site it’s just not as instant and addictive as it was when I had my account. It’s like a small buffer I guess in a way that keeps the beer wanting in check. But I probably wouldn’t have seen it till tomorrow or next had you not posted. Cheers.

 

I hear you on that one. I deleted my Facebook shortly after they started letting people join who didn’t have .edu email accounts. When was that, 2008 or so? Don’t miss it either. InstaFace and TwitBook I don’t do those either

 

Man, you ain’t kiddin’. I dropped FB years ago but my insta account is clogged with constant brewery posts! Thankfully I’ve (mostly) learned to dial down the FOMO.

 

Since this thread has been quiet lately I’ll add too I had my antead white wax a week or so ago. It was really tasty, you could tell the berries were there just from the slightest in a great way. Drank half, recapped, half the second night was even better. Drink em now if you have them, just my opinion, it is very tasty right now.

Well, it doesn't have whole chocolate sheet cakes, cinnabuns, and doughnuts thrown into the mash. Nor has it been aged in bourbon, port, and whiskey barrels. Then refermented on sprinkles, bananas, coconuts, and cupcakes, while sitting in a vessel that once held bourbon barrel bacon aged Hershey bars. So....
