SAVAGES (v2) Hints/Hauls

Sadly my friend I wish the best. Both UPS anf FedEx gave me the same message. Four times. I suspect some folks had a good weekend. Never got nothing.

Just sent a 17 lb box today. If it does not make it I am done with FedEx. Maybe even shipping.

 

So now that the hints are out of the way, what is your untappd handle? Gotta stalk

 

I'm unaware of Blue Owl making any, but to be honest they put out so few new brews that I haven't paid attention to them in years. The last time I was there was apparently in 2016, when I captured this photo just as my friend impatiently grabbed his beer out of the shot. 91,000 people have seen that photo on google maps, which is kinda crazy to me.

The folks I was thinking of are New Braunfels Brewing Company, who only make kettle soured German ales, which is a really, really hyper-specific niche to put yourself into. They make a beer called PKL FKR and over the years there have been variants like jalapeno, which was awesome. All their bottle art looks like a metal-obsessed teen drew it with crayons while bored in class. There's absolutely no cohesion from beer to beer, you can't even tell they're from the same company. They distribute pretty widely but I believe the crappy art has held them back and I even talked to the owner about it years ago but he liked it as is. He wrote a pretty butthurt blog post when this new pickle beer came out and immediately got featured on every web site and news program, but that's what a good marketing team can do for you!

I’ll be in Portland ME next weekend and will include part of my bounty in my boxes. (one of my targets has a very prominent ME brew in their wants, but the bottles I bought are a bit older than I realized)

At least one of my targets has been a BA member longer than I have. A

I have more verified trades on BA than both my targets. Both

One of my targets has reviewed (not rated/reviewed) more beers than me on BA, the other has not.
+ > or = 300 and - > or = 600. A = more

I have sent one of my targets beer before...the other one, I have not. I have sent A beer.

Hint #6
Both of my targets live in a city/town with a greater population than mine.
One is about 1400 times greater (A)
Other is about 15 times greater (B)

Hint #7
I have participated in 2 or more BIF rounds with one of my targets. The other I have not. BIF'd with A

Hint #8
One of my targets has a lot of highest level sports teams in their state. The other target lives in an area with a similar number of highest level sports teams as my state. A has a lot.

Target A state admitted to the union before mine
Target B state admitted to the union after mine

The total land area of my town is a lot greater (at least 5 times) than target B's town. Population density difference between our towns is significant too. Somewhere between 50-150 times different.

Its funny how some people just stick with what they have, even if it may not be working. The beers sound pretty interesting though.

We stopped in Blue Owl on an Austin trip that was probably 2017. Went to a ton of breweries. I have that glass from your pic. As I remember, you got the glasses free with a taster flight.

1. I plan to take advantage of the shipping window so expect your box on or around 10/31.
2. This will give me time to include fresh hops among other items.
3. The local food item will likely be shipped outside of the boxes I send in this BIF.
4. I have some swag already but would like to accumulate a little more.

To my 2nd sender.... my cooler is running low, I think the only thing non stout i have left are
a couple of Naturdays.

 

Is it bad that I'm not sure who my senders are?

I'm down to 2 names, but I must have screwed up along the way somehow.

I could call out the other name and that is @Jimmy_Kneecaps , but I'm probably wrong.

Oh, well, a little over 9 more hours till happy hour.

 

I think the only people who have figured out their senders did because the senders wanted them to know.
