They stopped updating their website beer wise.

That being said... I actually think their Blonde is pretty good. Not that it'll appease hop heads but it's really bang on for the style.

I should say it was the quantity that turned me off, not the style
    Looking forward to trying it!

The only hype of which I was aware about this place was contained in any posts on this thread responding to my inquiry. I went Wednesday and at first was disappointed I was existing a variety of local options, and wanted something other than an IPA. So I had pizza port Amber which was fair. Then I got a pint of terminal, without anyone specifically recommending it, and I couldn't stop just sniffing it the nose is so good. And while hoppy and juicy and bitter at same time, it finishes clean. It was amazing.

Tried Terminal Descent and agree it's really good. Could use a little more bitterness but I'm nitpicking. Might get a growler fill this weekend.
    Also enjoyed Past Treasures.

Been wanting to check out Bartlett Hall, hoping I didn't miss their glory days now that the head brewer went to SARA.

Just visited Bartlett Hall. Their beers are still great (maybe still transition period?), but they didn't really have any hazies today.

They had their classic Blonde, fruity new school IPA (Citra + Mosaic), WC IPA (Simcoe + Citra), "Hazy DIPA" which wasn't really that hazy nor juicy, and two imperial porters. Great lineup.

Clear is fine, not like we don't have enough hazy options in SF. I believe these brews should be all on the new brewer. Last time I visited it was his first day and he said he was hitting all of his numbers.

I forgot they also had a Blended Saison and Pale Ale. That's 8 of their own beers, the most I've ever seen from them!

Has anybody been to Bartlett Hall recently? Wondering how their beers are doing lately haven’t heard much chat about them. Gonna be staying near Union Square tomorrow.

Never heard of them till now, not surprised as I don't head down there very often. However there is city beer not to far and then there's Mikkeller bar closer to Union square but at night it's kind of sketchy.

It's been a few months but I've been meaning to go back there especially since I have a giftcard with outstanding balance. Had a few good beers last time and their happy hour food is hard to beat if you're just looking to stay in the area.

They just won a gabf medal, so sounds like things are still on track there. I don’t think I’ve been since Wynn left but seems to be in good hands.

did the Mikkeller > Cellarmaker > City Beer Store walk the other day. Very scenic, particularly near the federal building.

I was down there last month for dinner and theater. Unfortunately, Mikkeller has an age limit. Duh!

As far as the scenary, it has gotten worse. I usually can deal with it, but it has gotten really bad in the area.

if you want to blend in with the locals don't call it San Fran, or Frisco
