Trying out one of the beers from @r0rschach tonight - Artsy Tartsy w/guava from Lakewood Brewing Co. smells entirely of guava. Taste follows the nose with a bit of tartness. This may be my favorite sour. The guava instantly transports me to my early 20s when I had a lot more access to fresh ones. Thanks for this excellent beer and nostalgia trip. Pay no attention to the background.

I wanted to get into some of the goods @LloydDobler sent, so have to crack this mystery beer. Chris shot me a note and said he forgot to wrap the mystery beer and suggested maybe my wife could take a look in the box before me and pick one out and wrap it. So here goes.



Aroma is.....fruity, can't really pinpoint it but I get apples, maybe from all the damn apple picking I've been forced to endure lately.
It pours thin, and light. First taste matches the nose, I keep thinking apples. Something else there too. Maybe lime or lemon. It's refreshing in a weird way, but it also tastes like a thin cider. I'm lost on this one.

Well, the wife picked perfectly, the one Chris intended for mystery beer. I was way off!



Naturdays Lemonade....hahahahaha. It wasn't that bad to be honest. Maybe it was the long day at work. The Tree House glass did it justice.

 

Sad to report but target #2 is gonna get the same shirt. But in a wimp size. I am lazy so when I went to Veil , I bought two shirts. But Mike you go to Veil once a week. What is the deal? I wish I knew.
