    I haven't heard anything. Last year, they released the whole BA lineup in late November (or maybe first week of December). So I say, maybe in another 5-6 weeks?

    They seem to leave the beer in barrels a LOT longer than most breweries (1.5 years - 2 years) so that may be why the extended break....wonder if they'll put the next round in cans!!

    I do hope it's in cans. Much easier to drink solo or more of them :grin:

    Given the issues with the prior batch of Jones Dog and Murderous that could also explain the delay between releases if they're doing extra testing/had unusable barrels.

    They posted about their scotch BA smoked porter back in February and said it would be ready very soon - besides popping up at a couple fests in the spring that hasn't been released..

    Also, their barrel master, Mike Schallau, left to start his own thing a couple months back. That might have something do with it.

    FWIW, I heard him say in an interview that he intended to stay involved in tasting and blending barrels. I’m pretty sure it was all amicable and there are still firm ties there.

    its all over the city. i saw all 3 releases at printers row last week and he usually posts drops on the ISWAS instagram story. he did do a release event at BT though :slight_smile:

    Instagram mentioned "surprises" in the dojo. The email list said mentiones decadent stouts in the post script.

    I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t expect anything BA without notice to FWBs (since we are technically guaranteed a bottle of everything they brew. And we haven’t received any emails. I would assume any decadent stout surprises would be along the recent stout can lines.

    But who knows...

    I have to say, I enjoyed this batch of NvU vs The Haze. Reminded me of NvU but with a softer mouthfeel.

    I've previously only had one can from I want to say the last batch and I swear it was lighter in color.

    I agree, this batch is fabulous. I wish I had gotten more than one 4-pack when I drove up for the Deth's Tar release, but PW had too many other things I wanted, too!
