    Brooklyn Bel Air Sour.

I like Sour, haven’t had that many and I dunno how this one compares to others. It’s good.

    Cheers!

A bit agitated, but I’ll let things slide. The package of the variety pack said these beers were brewed in September. Then I cracked this Pale Ale and saw on the bottle that it was brewed in August. Oh well, it still tastes great:

You aren’t Emo if you haven’t listened to BrightEyes yet:

I don’t know why I feel so much honor to this, but I will defend real emo to its core. As far as we speak, emo is dead. These kids that wear all black nowadays are wiener goth kids. Emo died in the early 2000’s. Here we go:

    Good morning BA
Just finished a night shift and now have 48 hours off. Better start enjoying it...

This was a nice find. 18th Street IPAs sit on shelves here, but the stouts move quickly. My wife's first math teaching job was in Hammond, IN. First time I'd ever seen metal detectors and a fully fenced high school campus in 1997. I'm really glad we both survived our year in "the region." Cheers all!

I'm having a caged & corked 12.7 oz, bottle of Jovial, a Belgian style Dubbel from Troegs. I'm unfamiliar with the 12.7 ounce format, but it's an extra .7 ounces, so, whatever. It's deep, dark, burnt amber colored with an off white head that doesn't stick around very long or leave any lacing. Nose is very faint. There's mostly brown sugar/molasses and some dark fruit. The taste is stronger than the aroma, thankfully. The molasses/brown sugar and dark fruit are most prominent with some chocolate in the background. It's lighter bodied than I was hoping for. Still, it's pretty good, if nothing special, like I was hoping.

Beautiful cool breezy morning. Back from walk to the park with Ava. CW’s Brewer’s Reserve Belgian Style Quadruple Ale:

9/6/16. Another pull from my 2016 box. Mostly sweet candied fruit, caramel and bourbon. Fine drinking, but...a shell of its former self imo; 3 years was too long to sit on this otherwise lovely BBA 11.9% Quad. Oh well, that’s how science experiments go sometimes. Waiting for Mrs. Z to arise so we can continue the hunt for the perfect paint. Cheers!

Having some morning coffee, filtered through a brewery! It's a cold, rainy, and snowy fall day, so of course we're getting a patio slider-door replaced. I hired it done because I want it done right, so I can just watch and "have coffee". At least we shouldn't get any bugs in the house. This is our last outside door to replace.

I was wanting some whiskey, but this is a better choice. I have to get a few things done later...

Paired with some cheese egg spaetzle from Aldi. Should be no problem getting a nap here in a minute. Cheers all!

We're in kind of limbo weather, we get a warm day and the bugs come out, but most are laying low or dead. If it were in the 60's or 70's today our house would be full of those damn flying red Asian beetles. They bite and are hard to kill.
