Anyone spot 4 packs laying around, yet?

This sounds like a spectacular fund raising event.

IIRC Rev/@Veliksta1 said distro won't start until end of this week.

Said that it will get out there mid to late next week, actually. So I'm assuming it's on trucks and will be hitting stores in that time, not distro just beginning at the end of the week. That's just my interpretation based upon Veliksta's statement, though.

We have almost 50 distributors, so the reason I'm always vague around this question of timing around store shelves is because the answer may varies depending on where you live and when your store gets their delivery. Your distributor may receive it on a Monday, but if Monday is when your store gets a weekly delivery, then it may take a week for you to see it, versus if they were on Tuesday for example. I can promise you that they're working their way out there.

Damn, that's kinda crazy. Lol. Most the places I've talked to around Chicago expect them around the end of the week, when they get their regular beer shipments in - Thursdays/Fridays. They must have gone out a little earlier to the markets farther away?

Maybe. I'm not sure. It's just one shop here that I know of and they've been killing it lately. Tapped 3 different EQ kegs this weekend.

Haha. They must have finally decided to clear out the back to make room for the 2019 shipment coming in.

All 3 available on Caviar and at the brewpub at least today. Even though your first order on Caviar is free delivery, I opted to jump on the blue line at lunch so I could swipe my Rev rewards card too.

For anyone out in the west suburbs: JP liquors in Naperville just posted that they have Deth and Cafe.

Unfortunately there's only twelve of these, but only ~3 people were here at opening to buy them so far:

Oh the humanity! "We have too much barrel aged beer on tap. Get that stuff in a crowler and get rid of it so we can put a new keg of something on!"

Finally making it to the taproom tomorrow afternoon. Hoping XO will still be on draft, but thinking not since crowlers. Oh well, I’ll still have plenty to choose from.

Stopped in today, as expected, I missed the XO. But did get to enjoy Olde Gravedigger. It is a smoother version or regular, loved it. Maple Deth, on the other hand, was a huge miss for me. Completely one dimensional and lacking any depth. Glad it wasn’t a canned variant. Carver’s Candy is a nice surprise if you like your grandpa’s bit-o-honey candy bar.

The fact that all can variants are still available is amazing. I’m happy with the production level of the Deep Woods series lately.

The DB Lynott's was fantastic, my favorite draft variant of the weekend. Kudos to whomever was fortunate enough to snag a crowler. Now that I've had all three canned releases at home in a calmer environment than the noisy taproom, I can better understand Josh Noel's recommendation to enjoy Cafe Deth fresh. The coffee is super expressive this year--definitely still more balanced than Supermassive was, but more intense than previous releases. My possibly faulty memory is that the original draft and bomber releases were more chocolatey; I assume Cafe no longer has cacao nibs in it, but this year's is an absolute treat. Deth by Plums has just the right level of fruit for my personal palate, so I'm very happy to have maxed out on the limits for that one.
