Day 1B from @Elneenee mostly chocolate with some hints of banana. Weldwerks Chocolate Banana Pudding Stout. Thanks!
@beatjunkee Dropped this awesome Halloween BIF box on our porch and here is the first pick of all the foil wrapped bootles along with some great candy choices.
Here is part two with all the extras along with some awesome Newbies magnets! Thanks @beatjunkee cannot wait to dig in!
I kind of expected this big boy to be an IPA, but nope it’s a huge stout. Thick and coffee-heavy, sticky maple comes out as it warms. No clue on what this is, but it tastes vaguely familiar. I was expecting KY so this is a surprise but makes sense why it tasted so familiar. Tastes very similar to the base but I can pick up on the honey now that I think about it. Thanks @Sturgeon83 !
...and it begins! Day 1 courtesy of @jschott75 Tasty dark chocolate, bourbon barrel and coffee Pipeworks The Coffee Break Abduction and rich, dark chocolate (my favorite) Thanks Jim! Can’t wait for the rest of the days
@cpsfgd hooked me up with a cardboard cube of MO goodies! some tricks and treats will be had this H'ween, my friends. Thanks so much for all the extras, and the congratulatory wedding-bottle! so grateful for this group, and the friendship/generosity of everyone. #Newbies the blinds ...and the extras
Forgot to post this on Friday. @Tifore hit me with an awesome ninja box full of Ohio goodies. Thanks Tyler!
A little late on the Haul post, but @byrdpickem dropped some yummy extras and the wrapped six! (had no clue he was my sender, but looking back I prolly should have figured that one out)
The Joose is Loose indeed, from the moment I opened Day 1 beer from @Burrass I knew I'm in for a massive treat: The Answer Triple 3 Scoops Passion Fruit Lemonade Mango! I got passionfruit, confused lemonade for orange. I cherished every sip of this ambrosia-like mixture: Many thanks @Burrass, this was just awesome!
Catch up from yesterday. Day 1 from @bl00. Cap tells me Jack's Abby. Getting lot's of chocolate. Would not have figured out S'mores until I opened the chocolate. Great way to start. Thanks Dan
Day two is another thick stout, barrel-aged with lots of vanilla. Unsure if there are any other adjuncts in there. Cycle 6 Years Beers (Ecuadorian). So much decadent vanilla, this is really damn tasty. Thanks @Sturgeon83 !
Forgot to post my Halloween box from @azuelke. First the extras Day 1-6 with candy pairings. Thanks @azuelke for the very generous box, can't wait to get into all these
Day 2: light, sour, effervescent, cucumber. Jackie Os- Cucumber Ginger Perpetum. Nice change of pace from my 2 stout cans and stout #chugs yesterday. Thanks @Elneenee
Catching up from yesterday, day 1 Starting off with a crowler. A stout of some sort. Roasty on the nose with a hint of sweetness. Taste of chocolate with a hint of sweetness. Looks like a ba chocolate cover cherry stout from mobcraft. Unfortunately don't get much ba taste. Cherry adds a subtle sweetness. Candy pairs perfectly. Dark chocolate with cherries. Forgot to take a picture of it. Thanks for a good start @azuelke
Day 2a kicks off with another stout. Roasty and chocolate on the nose. Taste of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Untitled art and voodoo collab, imperial stout. Pairs nicely with the chocolate covered coffee beans Thanks @azuelke, 2b to follow
Great weekend to start off the sixer! First up: Tons of berry flavor. Sticks to the glass. Raspberry...and? Maybe something else? Pretty red in color though. Based on location could be a K2 Raspberry sour. Reminds me of MoRe frosted or Roaring Table fruit shop. Tasty! ...reveal... not close on my guesses but enjoyed it for sure. Next up, day 2 shared with friends! Roasty, chocolate, some sweetness, rich, fairly thick. Based on bottle format and the “Boston” clue, I might guess a tree house stout. One of the “shot” series? Really like this. No barrel but still so complex. ...reveal... awesome revisit from arguably my favorite brewery. Actually was pretty close to the guess too! Thanks again @Griff57 !!
Forgot to take a wrapped pic of day 2b. It was so good, I just wanted to see what it was. I couldn't pin point it right away, but the candy made it clear. Adam sent a few untitled art cans as extras that I enjoyed a lot and now both of these untitled art day 2 cans were great. Thanks @azuelke
